as follows: Lewis' mother was Bridget Lawler. Bridget's
first husband was John Kealy, Sr. Bridget was John's 2nd wife
and one of John's children by his first wife was Mary Ann Kealy,
who married Michael Kernan, and they were the parents of Julia Kernan.

Lewis's second wife, Catherine, had a child by her first marriage,
Mary Mulhall. Mary later married Thomas Lawlor (b. 1893), a son of
John H. Lawlor.
Catherine immigrated in 1901 and was a naturalized citizen.
