The Louis B. Lawlor farm in Section 12 of Welton Twp in Clinton County was declared an Iowa Century Farm (meaning it had been in the same family for 100 years). The farm came into the Lawlor family in 1865. The 1885 census shows Louis' grandfather Daniel living at that location.
