Homer and Minnie homesteaded near Thune, Nebraska until 1921 when they
moved to North Platte,NE, where Homer worked for the Union Pacific railroad.
In 1925, they moved to California,
first to San Francisco and then to Los Angeles, where they lived for
forty years. Home worked as an enginner in the ice-making plant, and
Minnie taught piano and organ.
They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1964.
After Homer's death in 1970, Minnie lived with her son and family
in Indio, California.
