The following is from Rosemary's obituary:
In earlier years, she taught at several rural Clinton County elementary schools.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, where she was the church organist for many years. she also was a member of St. Patrick's Altar and Rosary Society, New Century Club, Jackson County Public Hospital Auxiliary, Dairy Herd Improvement and Holstein Breeders Association.

She loved music, flowers, gardening, crocheting, card playing, reading, crossword puzzles and dogs. She and her husband, Jack, had traveled extensively.

Rosemary was living in the Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa, Iowa, in 1996 according to John E. O'Connell. (And there in July 1997 also.)
