 | I "met" Ed on an email discussion group quite some time ago. I can't claim to "know" him in person, but he is wonderful at being "real" when you talk to him even in this format. I can only imagine that he would have an even more dynamic and engaging personality when you meet him in person! |
The first and probably most important thing about Ed is that he is a Dad, who homeschooled his three children. He is not someone on the outside of the homeschooling issue who is just "thinking" they are in the know--he has lived the life, and then some. Ed comes to the homeschooling community with a bit of a different background than most--he was an educator! With vast experience in the school system he brings a new perspective to homeschooling that is refreshing and much needed! He is very active in the legal aspects of homeschooling and is a constant and impressive advocate for homeschoolers rights. Ed has traveled extensively as a homeschool speaker, and has captivated audiences here in the states as well as abroad.
