In the mountains

We took a drive through on the Blue Ridge Parkway in October. The leaves were a bit past prime, but they were still beautiful.

Further on the Parkway we stopped at Waterrock Knob for a view. There was a half-mile trail. That half mile was up the mountain, but after we huffed and puffed the trail to the top. We had the mountain to ourself. It was a beautiful day and some wonderful views.

He're the two of us on top of Waterrock Knob. It was a sunny day, as you can tell.
