Jareth throws a crystal into the corridor and out come The Cleaners (little goblins and a BIG shredding machine).  Luckily, Sarah and Hoggle manage to squeeze by the machine and find a way out of the dungeons.

So Hoggle and Sarah climb the ladder.  During this time Hoggle comments on how he is a coward and Jareth scares him.  They finally stop their climb and emerge amongst greenery.

Hoggle then declares that he has taken Sarah as far as he could go.  Sarah does not agree, so she steals Hoggles jewels in order to keep him with her.

Reflecting on this thought a wiseman approches Sarah and Hoggle.  Sarah asks him if he knows the way to the castle at the center of the labyrinth.

The wiseman and his hat give Sarah advice.  After adding a little contribution in the wiseman's little box, Sarah and Hoggle begin walking through the garden maze when they hear very loud roaring.

Sarah decides to face the loud yells by herself.  What she sees surprises her.  A huge creature is being attacked by little goblins.  She decides to help.  Hidden from view, Sarah throws rocks at the goblins and they retreat.  Once free from harm Sarah and Ludo (the giant creature) introduce themselves.

Sarah and Ludo enter another maze, this time through a forest.  Ludo is scared, so Sarah tries to comfort him with words.  Sarah turns away for just a moment and Ludo he dissappears.  Now Sarah is frightened, especially when tall, bright creatures appear from out of nowhere.

Sarah cries out for Hoggle to help her.  Hearing his friend's fear, Hoggle starts running to find her.  Instead Jareth finds him.

Once confronted, Hoggle tells Jareth that the little lady gave him the slip, so he is off to take her back to the beginning like they planned.  Jareth had another plan in mind.

Jareth threatens to dip Hoggle in the Bog of Eternal Stench if Hoggle disobeys him.  Jareth also adds that if Sarah ever kisses Hoggle, he will turn Hoggle into a prince.
