Sarah takes the peach and bites into it. All of the sudden she feels different. Her head is spinning, the world is dancing.
|
Jareth begins to lead Sarah away from her quest. With his magic, Jareth sends Sarah, dressed in a ballgown, into one of his light-as-air crystals.
Inside the crystal ball, Jareth watches as Sarah searches for him. Bedazzled by her presence he begins to lull her towards him with a very romantic song.
Jareth smiles with satisfaction, assured that he has prevented Sarah from finishing her quest.
Sarah finally finds Jareth and they begin to dance while he continues to sing to her.
|
This dance does not last long, however. Sarah begins to remember her quest and in order to break free from this dream-like masquerade ball, Sarah breaks through glass wall.
Sarah immediately begins to fall from the sky landing into a pile of garbage. Sarah does not remember what she is doing in the labyrinth, only that she was looking for something. She is taken by a trash lady and brought into a replica of her bedroom. Browsing through objects in her "bedroom" Sarah sees her Labyrinth book and remembers her quest.
At these words of recollection, Sarah's false room begins to fall in on itself. Sarah hears Ludo and Sir Didymus calling her name. She manages to climb through a hole in the ceiling and emerge out of the trash pile into the helpful arms of Ludo.

Hoggle is nearby and hears that Sarah is on her way to the city. He follows, realizing that she might get into trouble.
At the gates they find a sleeping goblin as well as a very silent city. That is until the gates close and a large, metal goblin-robot emerges. Armed with an ax, it attacks Sarah and friends. Hoggle comes to the rescue and deactivates the robot goblin.
Hoggle is forgiven and commended on his bravery. At this bit of confidence, Hoggle joins in the effort to attack Jareth.
