Leon realises that it is not safe for Mathilda to stay in his apartment, so they move out to the Hotel National. When they get to their room Mathilda fills out the hotel form in the name of a girl she hates at school. LEON: How old are you. MATHILDA: Eighteen. LEON: Eighteen? MATHILDA: You wanna see my license? LEON: No. It's just that you look younger. MATHILDA: Thanks. Later Mathilda visits the apartment where her family was killed, and finds some money hidden under the floor boards. During a conversation she finds out that identity of the man who killed her brother. Back at their hotel room Mathilda gives the money to Leon. MATHILDA: Here it's for a contract,$20,000 right. His name is Norman Stansfield and he's in room 4602 in the DEA building, 26 Federal Plaza. LEON: I'm not taking it. MATHILDA: Why not? LEON: Too heavy. MATHILDA: Will you rent me your gear for the day? LEON: I never lend out my gear. But (Leon pushes a revolver towards Mathilda) you still have your gun, use it. Just do me a favour, Don't shoot out of the window OK. MATHILDA: Why are you so mean to me? Your out there killing people you don't give a shit about, but you wont get the bastards who killed my whole family. LEON: Revenge is not good Mathilda, believe it is better to forget.
