Subject: Bible question!

Question -

Hi again, thanks for providing answer on my previous mail, I understand your explanation that's nice of you so hope that you can help me out with this, I want to know more so I'll ask for your understanding and expertise in clarifying the meaning of the phrase "only a few", let us picture it out that 100% represents the total people who had lives on earth and when it was said only a few will be saved, it is automatically considered that out of the 100% , 50% will surely not be considered saved or else it will result in equal number am I right?,

still when we say only a few, it means that few should be saved out of the remaining 50%, so that conclude that the saved will be lower than 50% and we know that out of the 100% the difference between the people saved and the unsaved is big/huge,here's my question , how can you describe/picture-out the meaning of the bible that only a few will be saved now basing on the remaining 50%, will the number of unsaved be greater than saved or the number of saved be greater than unsaved, I'm not asking for the exact number or any percentage, just the difference, hope to hear from you!

Answer -

Dear Caleb, The following verse included within the chapter concerning "few" is specifying rewards and types of service for believers and is not a numerical account detailing the difference between non believers and believers unto salvation;

For the kingdom of Heaven is like a man, a housemaster, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers into his vineyard.  (Mat 20:1) And when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarii's a day, he sent them into his vineyard.  (Mat 20:2) And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace.  (Mat 20:3) And he said to them, You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you. And they went.  (Mat 20:4) And he went out about the sixth and ninth hour and did likewise.  (Mat 20:5) And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle, and said to them, Why do you stand here all day idle?  (Mat 20:6) They said to him, Because no one has hired us. He said to them, You also go into the vineyard, and you shall receive whatever is right.  (Mat 20:7) So when evening had come, the lord of the vineyard said to his steward, Call the laborers and pay them their wage, beginning from the last to the first.  (Mat 20:8) And when they who were hired about the eleventh hour came, they each one received a denarii's.  (Mat 20:9) But when the first came, they supposed that they would received more; and they also each one received a denarii's.  (Mat 20:10) And receiving it they murmured against the master of the house,  (Mat 20:11) saying, These last have worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden and heat of the day.  (Mat 20:12) But he answered one of them and said, Friend, I do you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarii's?  (Mat 20:13) Take yours, and go; I will give to this last one the same as to you.  (Mat 20:14) Is it not lawful for me to do what I want with my own? Is your eye evil because I am good?  (Mat 20:15) So the last shall be first, and the first last, for many are called, but few are chosen.  (Mat 20:16) As plain as day -this is not talking about believers or non believers. The following verse in the chapter is regarding Church life with particular emphasis on leaders, the key word here in this chapter is "few" which properly understood is thus (oligos "ol-ee'-gos" meaning PUNY (in extent, degree, number, duration or value) and now the chapter; Judge not, that you may not be judged.  (Mat 7:1) For with whatever judgment you judge, you shall be judged; and with whatever measure you measure out, it shall be measured to you again.  (Mat 7:2) And why do you look on the splinter that is in your brother's eye, but do not consider the beam that is in your own eye?  (Mat 7:3) Or how will you say to your brother, Let me pull the splinter out of your eye; and, behold, a beam is in your own eye?  (Mat 7:4) Hypocrite! First cast the beam out of your own eye, and then you shall see clearly to cast the splinter out of your brother's eye.  (Mat 7:5) Do not give that which is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn again and tear you.  (Mat 7:6) Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you.  (Mat 7:7) For each one who asks receives; and he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, it shall be opened.  (Mat 7:8) Or what man is there of you, if his son asks a loaf, will he give him a stone?  (Mat 7:9) Or if he asks a fish, will he give him a snake?  (Mat 7:10) If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him?  (Mat 7:11) Therefore all things, whatever you desire that men should do to you, do even so to them; for this is the Law and the Prophets.  (Mat 7:12) Go in through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who go in through it.  (Mat 7:13) Because narrow is the gate and constricted is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.  (Mat 7:14) Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  (Mat 7:15) You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?  (Mat 7:16) Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.  (Mat 7:17) A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruits, nor can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  (Mat 7:18) Every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  (Mat 7:19) Therefore by their fruits you shall know them.  (Mat 7:20) Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.  (Mat 7:21) Many will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works?  (Mat 7:22) And then I will say to them I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!  (Mat 7:23) Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.  (Mat 7:24) And the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house. And it did not fall, for it was founded on a rock.  (Mat 7:25) And everyone who hears these sayings of Mine and does not do them shall be compared to a foolish man who built his house on the sand.  (Mat 7:26) And the rain came down, and the floods came, and the wind blew and beat on that house. And it fell, and great was its fall.  (Mat 7:27) And it happened, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His doctrine.  (Mat 7:28) For He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.  (Mat 7:29)

This chapter is about humility in stewardship of Gods people.

As you can see Caleb, Jesus makes no reference to numerical values of those saved or not saved.

I continue to demand that you drop this subject of numerical difference between those saved and those not -for all the reasons I have already given in previous responses to your asking.

Please feel free and hopeful for an answer to any other question, as I am more than happy to help you out.

Subject: Handful?

Question - Thanks for the answer, don't worry I won't ask another question asking the exact number, okay I have another question and hope that you could briefly explain and with complete detail,

1)what I would like to know is in the past history, how many incident of god punishing the people and how many are not punished? throughout the history of god punishing the people, in most cases which did survive, is it the majority or the minority survive

2)and is it true that god would start punishing people only whenever they are becoming bad? and on the 2nd coming or at time of Noah will god wait for people to become bad before he will come here?

3)if ever the saved will be greater than the unsaved will god make something like hell to punish the people? hope to hear from you!

Answer -

Dear Caleb, You asked:

"1)what I would like to know is in the past history, how many incident of god punishing the people and how many are not punished? throughout the history of god punishing the people, in most cases which did survive, is it the majority or the minority survive

2)and is it true that god would start punishing people only whenever they are becoming bad? and on the 2nd coming or at time of Noah will god wait for people to become bad before he will come here?

3)if ever the saved will be greater than the unsaved will god make something like hell to punish the people?"

I would like to answer your questions with one big explanation that covers all the questions you asked, as I feel this would serve you better than to just answer question by question.

When we talk about the people in the past then you must mean the Hebrews.

The Hebrews had a specific contract with God that basically said that if you did what he wanted than you would be blessed but if you did not then you would be punished.

When God punished the people of Israel he punished them all as a nation along with those that did not fall into the category of being punished for whatever the punishment was served in recompense for.

No old Testament prophet escaped the judgment of God upon the Hebrew nation when they were taken into captivity, though there are many many records of these prophets becoming blessed despite the circumstances. On several occasions God planned to completely destroy the Hebrew nation and everything that it had including possessions and even its animals, the fact that some survived this ordeal was on account of petitions made by prophets Former promises of God made to particular Hebrews that were "eternal" Repentance of the Hebrews whilst suffering the duration of elimination.

God did not plan to save "a few" and kill the rest-he planned to destroy "all" On a few occasions we can see in the Bible that God can change his mind on things in a response to a man talking to him, this shows us that God can have every intention to do a deed but then choose to stop as a "following" objective action.

In other words when God decided to kill all Hebrews-he really did set out to kill them all! In reality, the existence of Israel today is partly due to the fact that in the past some of them communicated with God and persuaded him to continue with them. amazing!

In General it is a few occasions where "few" escaped Gods wrath and the majority didn't -but this is circumstantial or a result of the peoples actions and not Gods initially.

Regarding the time scale between "warning to execution" with the Hebrew nation being punished - I am not the right person to answer that question, however the time scale is irrelevant and my next explanation will show you why.

SELDOM did the Hebrew nation follow God (according to the Bible) even when they became two nations "Israel" and "Judah" for the majority of their existence they always participated in Idolatry to an extent-yet God never judged them for execution.

When they completely forsook God "as a nation" then the warnings came through prophets, and I can safely say that "a very long period of time passed" until execution of the unheeded warning arrived.

It is my understanding that when patience is extended so far, it then becomes something else which is not patience, you see, while God waited for his people to heed the warning through his prophets the time came when patience no longer served that purpose of "waiting for a response" but if continued would become "just an idle threat" However God is astonishingly patient.

Noah is a good example of Gods patience, God warned the people of the Earth for over 950 years to repent until he wiped them out! Moving on to the Christ/Messiah and the following time and events, God has made a contract with the ENTIRE world (not Just Israel), which basically states that if they accept the payment of "innocent life blood shed" for their sins against God, they will not be judged again for their sins; this includes recognition of Jesus Christ/Joshua Messiah as God himself that became a man and died as that "innocent blood sacrifice" If any have taken this contract by a verbal confession (and if possible) Baptism in water as a physical symbolic gesture like a handshake-which from Gods perspective is an act of obedience, from then on and after all sins of that individual are no longer counted against them.

From Gods view today "sin" is no longer an issue, but whether the world will except the payment for sin or not, this is a time of warning and patience and nothing more.

Obviously the time of execution will come, and those that have rejected the payment will be held to account for their sin, however this period of time is a hidden secret that only God the Father knows and Jesus said that he didn't know himself.

As for the dead at the time of execution and those alive on the Earth at the time of execution that is another big subject along with what the punishment is.

Subject: Handful?

Question -

Hi, that's a good explanation, I would like to know something about rapture, what do you know about that and my 2nd question is the number 144,000 & revl. 14:1-3 what are those are they a thing or people, and my 3rd question is when g punish the people in Noah's time, did he punish them only when they became unrighteous? last question is in Isaiah 6 10-13, will this happen in the future? hope to hear from you, thanks for the time you provide to give me clear answers!

Answer -

Hi, Caleb "I would like to know something about rapture, what do you know about that?" Some believe that at his coming Christ will sweep his church up into the air and then return immediately to the earth to establish his kingdom, this is called post-tribulation rapture.

Some believe that Christ will come for his church at the beginning of the great tribulation sweep them up into the air and return with them to heaven for a seven year period and then return to earth to establish his kingdom. This is called pre-tribulation rapture.

Others believe the latter scenario except that Christ will come for them in the middle of the great tribulation at the 3 and 1/2 year mark, this is called mid-tribulation rapture.

If you get to talking with some who hold these opinions you'll find that they themselves have changed from pre- to mid- to post-tribulationism along the way . . . and maybe back again? and while they might vigorously argue for their position all these have one thing in common: They are all sincere devout believers who look at the same Scriptures (maybe in different sequence) and draw different conclusions.

There are similar questions abounding as to the identity of the Antichrist the Beast the False Prophet and so on.

Let me "plainly speaking" explain to you the whole future events that lead to the beginning of eternity with God; (I'll get technically biblical afterwards) There is a "time" that is predestined by God the Father and known only by him, when the Church (the physical body of Christ on Earth) will be removed from the Earth by means of being "caught up" (raptured) to meet the Lord in the air/clouds and then receive glorified bodies like Jesus' glorified body, and finally return with him to Heaven.(all dead believers arrive also with Christ -and their bodies rise up from the Earth also)

At this time the following events are; (There is already in existence a world government)

1, A man which is also the Anti-Christ moves into the position of president of the world government and hence becomes ruler over all the Earth -under the authority and power of Satan.

2, The instant disappearance of all believers on the Earth coupled with the Anti-Christ taking position -convinces 144.000 Jews that Jesus was in fact Messiah and so become believers and evangelize the Earth.

3, Three and a half years pass with "world peace" and from the end of that period for another three and a half years the Anti-Christ does everything within his world and Satanic power to destroy the Jews (Like fundamentalist Muslims)

4, During this latter three and a half year period God sends down his angels with various desolating tools to torment every living being this is known as THE GREAT TRIBULATION.

5, Towards the end of this three and a half year period God sends down Moses and Elijah (Two Old Testament Prophets -that live in the flesh in Heaven) who preach, are killed, are brought back to life, and go to Heaven.

6, The Jews that are still alive proclaim "Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord" at which point the Lord returns to the Earth (the second coming) with an Angel, and slaughters every non believer on the face of the Earth and then throws Satan into a bottomless pit for one thousand years.

7, The Lord reigns from Jerusalem for one thousand years and in which time period the following happens;

7a, The believers that survived the great tribulation and Gods wrath -repopulate the Earth.

7b, Non believers come into existence again through the repopulation of the believers that survived the great tribulation.

7c, At the near end of the thousand year reign of Christ God releases Satan from the bottomless pit.

7d, Satan gathers all non believers from the Earth into an army (they all were willing) and they surround Jerusalem paused to kill every inhabitant including Jesus.

7e, Jesus himself and alone -rides out of Jerusalem on a horse and kills every single one of them with his sword.

7f, Satan is thrown into the lake of fire. 8, At the end of the thousand year reign of Christ -begins the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT.

8a, ALL humanity that has ever existed and exists are judged by God by means of several books included of only one mentioned by name "THE LAMBS BOOK OF LIFE"

8b, The lambs book of life lists those for dwelling with God for eternity, the other books lists merit and condemnation unto degrees of punishment.

8c, Those written in the book of the lamb are judged only by the book/s regarding merits and are rewarded.

8d, Those not written in the lambs book of life are judged by the book/s of merit and condemnation and are thrown into the lake of fire to burn for eternity -to the degree of burning after the judgment they deserve according to the books.

9, God utterly shakes into oblivion the universe and everything within it, and then creates a new Heaven and a new Earth.

10, Heaven lands on the Earth (New Jerusalem) is a four sided square complex, and everyone lives with God in Jerusalem for eternity.

I will post a follow up with the technical stuff after this-it will give you time to read this!

Regarding Noah, there was no Moses and no Law of Moses because Noah and that world community existed before Moses. Therefore, righteousness as defined by the law of Moses was not the "righteousness" that Noah possessed and other than his family didn't possess. If we are talking about the "new righteousness" mentioned in Romans that brings salvation through faith- then a Christian has a position of righteousness through faith and not merit by being good according to the law of Moses. In other words-become a Christian and be saved-don't become a Christian and burn for eternity in the Lake of fire.

Thanks Lee Mowat

Subject: New! Question -

Hi again, thanks for the answer but I hope that you can answer me as soon as possible, okay

1) Is it true that there is 3 stage of heaven and if you will compare the people who will be cast to hell than to the 3 heaven, it will result in more people go to the 3 stage of heaven than to the hell, is that true? if it's true then Matt. 7:13 is wrong

2) is believing enough to be considered saved?

3) will it be easy or difficult to enter the kingdom of god? how difficult will it be?

hope to hear from you soon!

Answer -

Hi Caleb, Ok I will answer this as quickly as I can. Firstly, regarding the 3 stage Heaven and Matt 7:13 yes it is a contradiction-well done! However this is not as important as -is there stages in Heaven? is Matt 7:13 really about non-believers? My answer is NO and NO and ultimately to the first question regarding the two-NO. Oh Caleb, who is filling your head with this rubbish? but I am happy that you question what you have heard-you are a warrior of truth! Caleb my dearest brother and co-heir of the Kingdom of God, let me explain to you the Kingdom of Satan's lies.. The way of the Lord is simple but the way of sin is very very very complex and complicated, the reason is because of the nature of  "truth" and the nature of  "lies" Now the truth -is the truth, it is about the EXISTENCE of things, or concerning of what IS -simply being and existing.

Now the lie is; denial of all things concerning EXISTENCE and what IS - a formation of complexities to gulp up recognition of what exists and is.

With the lie-it is not singular and so the nature of a lie is always dependent upon more lies which creates a kind of network, a web of lies.

It sounds as if you are caught up in a web of lies Caleb and this is why you are confused because you are trying to build bridges between the truth and lies.

My advise for such a predicament -is ALWAYS LET THE BIBLE WIN even if you don't comprehend its meaning -but I think you know this anyway. Regarding Heavens today

1st Heaven of the sky

2nd Heaven of the stars

3rd Heaven of God's home

Regarding the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN-KINGDOM OF GOD

1, of Gods home

2, of God's home "in" believers on the Earth

3, of the Church -God reigning through them

4, of Jesus Concerning rewards for believers (before the thousand year reign of Christ on the Earth)

1, dependent upon what God has achieved through the life of a believer -he is rewarded with power of Jesus' authority to reign to a degree during the thousand year reign of Christ.

2, at the end of the thousand year reign of Messiah, is the end of the reign that was given as a reward.

3, all are given a crown befitting their service, this crown is kept even after the end of the thousand year reign-even eternity.

Hence rewards ends here.

Concerning punishments for non believers.

1, Prior to THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT all are banished to HADES at physical death.

2, HADES is presently at the centre of planet EARTH wherein non-believers as spirits (no bodies) suffer thirst and pain equally.

3, At the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT all non-believers are thrown into the lake of fire -along with HADES and death and Satan.

4, Non-believers in the Lake of fire (having received eternal bodies) suffer to perfection (due to the perfection of the eternal body) the elements of bathing in a lake of fire-because the body is ETERNAL it forever replenishes itself against the destruction of the fire resulting in never ending subjection to burning.

5, Because the Bible hints at degrees of punishment within the Lake of fire-I am forced to "guess" that this might be concerning a spiritual suffering related to a spiritual element of the fire -of the lake of fire.

You said " 2) is believing enough to be considered saved?" unquote.

Let me explain why "believing/faith"

If it was just a matter "believing" then what of the Devil? for he believes God exists -he knows God exists! so then it is not just believing!

Believing is better translated as "trusting" and faith is better translated as "trusting" and when the Bible speaks of believing or faith -it is talking about "trusting"

Why has God chosen FAITH/BELIEVING/TRUSTING for the condition of salvation?

Answer: In the garden of Eden -Adam and Even ate of the fruit of the tree that God had forbid them to eat of. Eve was deceived by Satan and ate the fruit, Adam was not deceived he just took the fruit from his wife and ate it.

Two things;

1, Adam was not deceived and blatantly sinned.

2, Eve was deceived and did not trust/believe have faith in God.

Two solutions;

1, God became a man, and as an innocent man took the punishment for all sin.

2, By faith/believing/trusting in God become a man and taking the punishment of sin upon himself.

Result; Sin is solved by perfect obedience and punishment Faithlessness/unbelief/distrust is solved by faith/believing/trust.

It is God's perfect justice that as a result of sin being paid for -that "trust" complete the transaction.

You said "3) will it be easy or difficult to enter the kingdom of god? how difficult will it be?" unquote.

When you say WILL then I guess you mean a future event/s?

1, After physical death there is no more choice to be made-you reap what you have sown during your life before death.

2, If you are referring to THE GREAT TRIBULATION then yes it will be very difficult.

3, If you are talking from the view point of "temporal suffering" in the lake of fire or Hades leading to forgiveness and inheritance of the Kingdom of Heaven -it is a lie.

4, If you are talking about physical death of believers -our body dies but we will still spiritually exist and find ourselves conscious -as to the manner of which we shall be transported to God's kingdom -I'll tell you in 60 years.

I hope I answered you questions?
