December 29, 2006. Sorry, I haven’t been keeping up with these updates. I have been distracted by some other stuff going on in my life.
I have been looking for information about Eric’s new movies that are supposed to be released in 2007. The sex&murder movie 4Bidden is supposed to be one of them according to the Internet Movie Database but there is absolutely no mention of Eric at the 4Bidden official web site. If you are also looking for Eric's new movies, make a note that Princess has had a title change to Royal Kill and the release date is now 1 July 2007.
Eric played a lawyer in a German thriller called One Way that is getting mixed reviews in Germany. I don’t know if it is ever going to be released here in the U.S. Eric’s voice is dubbed by a German actor named Heiner Lauterbach. He is two years older than Eric and has made just about as many movies. I am told that in Europe they usually choose one actor to be the voice of an American actor for all of that actor’s films. Heiner Lauterbach is the German voice for Kevin Costner and Christopher Walken. So in Prophecy 2 does it sound like he's talking to himself?
Meanwhile , Eric’s official web site has sent him another set of questions and received answers. Some of it was just the same old chit chat but there were a couple of remarks that he made that I thought were interesting. Someone asked if there were somewhere in the world that he would like to visit and Eric said that he would like to visit the Amazon. He said “I do think nature and science are magnificent beyond description.”
Eric has been thinking about going back to his TV roots and guesting on a soap. Do you remember that he had a role on Another World back in 1977? But some of his fans think he would be perfect to guest on the TV show Shark with James Wood. Eric agreed and so do I. Now we need to get the producers of Shark to agree with us. Go to the Shark web site, click on “feedback” and tell them that Eric Roberts would be totally perfect to guest star on Shark.
September 20, 2006. Eric is supposed to be in Akon's new music video SMACK THAT with Eminem but I haven't seen it. I found what is supposed to be the video on the web but all I get is blank white screen -- OK, I've got a Mac at home but I couldn't get it on the Dell at work either (Ooops! Don't tell on me!)

August 22, 2006. Hope you are all having a good summer. As you may have noticed, Eric's Official web site is having some temporary domain name problems. They should be cleared up soon, one way or another.
June 21, 2006. If you spend as little time in health food stores as I do, you may not have seen the June 2006 issue of Energy Times magazine. Jopanne Gallo interviewed Eric for this issue. A picture of the front cover and the article is at the Energy Times web site but without all of the pictures that were in the magazine. In this interview Eric reveals some startling news.
The Fox network has announced it's Fall 2006 tv schedule and they have not picked up Southern Comfort. I suppose it's always possible that they could add it to the schedule later to replace something else or it could even be sold to another network but both of those are real longshots.

May 9, 2006. Eric will be in New York on Saturday, May 20, at a benefit for Farm Sanctuary. The Farm Sanctuary is in Watkins Glen, NY, but their 20th Anniversary Gala will be held in New York City. The chefs at Cipriani Wall Street, accompanied by chefs from Candle Cafe and Candle 79, will prepare a three-course gourmet vegan dinner while guests enjoy a reception and an auction of farm animal-inspired art and objects.
March 18, 2006. For those of you who get the premium channels, we have this message from Lisa: Hey just to let you know Eric will be on The L Word this weekend March 26 as Shane's father.....The L Word is on Showtime at 10:00 pm Sunday night.
March 11, 2006. Eric is busy this month. He is shooting a one-hour pilot for a show called Southern Comfort, that is being offered to Fox. People are calling it "Southern-Fried Sopranos." It is about a nice Mom who must go back to work and she discovers that her husband wasn't a business executive at all but was actually a mobster. To take care of herself and four children, she takes over the "family business." If Fox buys it, they will probably make 22 episodes to start and, if they don't, we will probably never even see the pilot. The test shoot is today in Memphis, TN, but Lisa was still casting the ten-year-old-boy, some stand-ins and extras yesterday.
The Genesis Awards will be filming on Saturday, March 18, when they will tape the two-hour special that will air on Animal Planet May 6.
The made-for-tv movie that Eric filmed with Anne Heche up in Nova Scotia has had a title change from Fatal Desire to Deceptively Yours and back again. It will air on Lifetime in April. The movie is based on the true crime book Fatal Error.
January 31, 2006. Eric's movie Junior Pilot has been renamed Final Approach and is being released on DVD today by MTI Home Video, the largest independent label in the U.S. For those of you who have not already seen it, Final Approach is an exciting family film, sort of like Spy Kids.
January 25, 2006. As we watched Eric die in a rerun of CSI Miami last night we got to thinking that it might be Eric's best death scene yet. According to witnesses, he was not only unscathed but very handsome. It wasn't his fault so I hope his insurance company doesn't raise his rates.
I spotted the lovely Emma on the front cover of Your Prom magazine next to the check out at Stop & Shop today. Nice.
