You probably noticed that there hasn't been many updates lately... I'm currently working on a brand new design for this site with mihau, and the site should be online soon!! I don't know for sure when.. but I'll carry on to update the news.

Across Europe you should be watching out for Lara on your TV screens!

Otra Amor Vendra reached #6 in Spain and is currently at #8. The Spanish version of the album contains the 12 English songs, and then 5 bonus Spanish tracks: Quedate, Sola Otra Vez, Sin Ti, Otra Amor Vendra (I Will Love Again) and Otra Amor Vendra. This CD is also available in France.

I Will Love Again has been at #88 and #67 on Viva in Germany! Let's hope it carries on improving!

The album has charted at #40 in Spain.

Lara's Anglo Alliance is a project set up by Erica and I, which links together Anglo Lara fan sites, and Lara's Anglo supporters who don't have a website. Hopefully this will bring Lara's Anglo sites a little more attention in the mainly French Lara-land! For me information, you can email us, or visit the Anglo Alliance Homepage. Please note, we are not anti-French or anti-Quebecois.. we simply want the English language sites to get a little more attention.

I have spoken to Sony UK and they say that the first single for Lara will be released on MAY 22nd in the UK. It's still a long wait, but hopefully it will give Lara time to promote properly in the UK. Sony also say she will be in the UK through part of April and May.

Also, I Will Love Again was released on MONDAY across most of Europe (Germany, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway)... so if you find the single, buy it and help Lara become an international star. It will be released in France in the next couple of weeks. The tracks are:

1. I Will Love Again (Remix)
2. I Will Love Again (Ballad Reprise)
3. You Are My Heart

The Victoires De La Musique is on TV tonight, so if you can, watch it! I don't think Lara is going to be there though.

Apparently Lara will be in the UK for two days at the end of March, and then through part of April for lots of promotion! I think I Will Love Again is already being played on British radio in some areas, so try requesting it and see what your local DJ says. As far as I know, no national station has played it yet.

I Will Love Again was released today in parts of Europe. Please write to me and tell me about the track list of the single, chart positions and stuff!

This is mentioned on the front page of the site, so I thought I should mention it in the news. It's a new project by Erica and I, and it will be online very soon!:) Get ready!:)

As you probably already noticed, the site has finally gone back to it's old design, so it's finished with the year 2000 special edition. And, the biggest change is that I added a frames version. The biggest thing left to do is finish the French version.. which will hopefully be done in the next couple of months... hopefully I can start updating more frequently again now. Please tell me at Chris-W@talk21.com and tell me if the frames version works for you.

A chart position: I Will Love Again is #15 in Norway.

On Tower Records USA website, it lists I Will Love Again as being released as a maxi-single and 12" in the US on March 21st. (Thanks to Conrad!). Meanwhile, Tower UK/Europe list it as being March 6th as a European date... although I doubt that date applies to the whole of Europe, perhaps Italy, Spain and Germany.

I've heard some rumours that in Europe, I Will Love Again and the album are both to be released during March. In the UK, as for as I know, the date is still May, but it's possible that the European date is first. When Lara finishes promotion in Toronto it's possible she'll return to Europe, so keep checking with your local Sony for news about Lara!! I've also heard that the US release is delayed until June/July.. I don't know if this is true... so I guess if you live in the US you could try checking with Sony USA. I'm going to phone Sony UK tomorrow and try and find out more news from Lara. Don't forget Lara's chat tonight at 23.00 French/European time, 22.00 UK time, 17.00 Canadian/US time. I'm not sure of times for the other US time zones or Asia/Australia... sorry.

The video for I Will Love Again was directed by English people, and was shot in Toronto. Lara will be promoting in Canada soon, so look out for her on TV shows, radio and in magazines!:) More news when I hear about it!:)

I'm finally back. For the last 3 weeks I've been offline due to problems with moving house.. but now I'm back, I should be able to update at least every 2 days!:)

So, I didn't get time to check for Lara news yet, but my friend Claudio told me that I Will Love Again is getting lots of airplay in Italy which is great news!! I guess it will be a big European hit for Lara!

I did read that the US date for the album is May 16th, which means the UK date is May 16th!:) I hope this is true!:) (thanks to David for this).

Now for the more interesting news!! Lara has announced some tour dates!! So far they are just for France, but I am sure more dates will be added for Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, and the world!! Here are the dates so far:

8 July - Caen

11 July - Lilles

12 July - Amiens

14 July - Orléans

25 July - Vienne

26 July - Albertville

I'm almost certain more dates will be announced... because she hasn't yet announced any in Paris!

Today is Lara's birthday, so happy birthday Lara!! We wish you lots of luck for this year and hope that you become a huge star like you deserve!!

Sony have confirmed that they next single and video release from the album will be the brilliant I Will Love Again. Personally, I think this is a really great choice as it will show another side of Lara to the public! There's going to be mixes by David Morales, a Spanish version and a ballad version!! Can't wait!!

In the French album charts, Lara is #10. Mariah is #11.

More news from Jian.. he checked the CD store and the album is the same as the one released in Europe and Canada. I guess the Chinese song could be on the Japanese/Taiwanese editions of the album.

My friend from Singapore, Jian, has given me some interesting news!! He tells me that he saw Lara's album in Tower Records, so perhaps it has already been released in Singapore!! And the more interesting thing is that it might have a duet with a very famous Asian artist, perhaps sung partly or totally in Chinese especially for the Asian market!! As soon as I find more news about this, I'll write it.

Also, I've been told that I Will Love Again is the next single in France... and that it's the debut single for Austria or Australia (not sure which!!) and will be released there on 30th January. The release dates for francophone countries are unknown right now.

I hope you all had a really great time last night, and that you didn't get too drunk;) This year is pretty exciting.. it's the year Lara is gonna seduce the world!! This time next year, I guess Lara could be a huge international star!! It's so exciting, and I hope that Lara's dream comes true!!

Sony UK seem to know nothing about when Lara's album and single will be released in the UK. I guess it isn't until at least after March, perhaps even later. I guess we just have to keep on waiting...

Adagio has gone into the French charts at #5!! Celine is #7, and Mariah is #8 with Heartbreaker.

Adagio est #5 sur les charts français!! C'est excellent!! Je pense que Adagio est un tres special chanson, et c'est super que le 'single' est #5!!! Aussi sur les charts français, That's The Way It Is (par Celine) est #7, et Mariah Carey avec Heartbreaker est #8.

Lara has said that she will go on tour for her new album!! She's promised to visit many towns and cities in France already, and Canada, around spring/summer time next year!! I can't wait, and I really hope she comes to the UK!!:)

The Adagio single is now out, and the b-side is the song that Lara wrote with Glenn Ballad, called Ivy. It's an acoustic version, so if the Adagio single is out in your country, go and buy it!!:) I'm adding all of Lara's chart positions to the charts page, in the Information section.

The new album is also #1 in Quebec according to HMV Canada!!:) VIVE LARA!!:) Please let me know if you know what position the album is in for Belgium and Switzerland, as I can't find album charts for these places.

I guess we all know that Lara is #1.... but now the charts prove it!! Lara is #1 in the French album charts!! Take a look at Top 50 Online where they have lots of features about Lara (en français)!! I'm adding all of Lara's chart positions to the charts page, in the Information section.

Watch out for Lara on TV in France... there are lots of news reports about her at the moment. Apparently there's also an interview in the magazine Tele 7 Jours.

Lara did a CD signing in Paris yesterday and there were LOADS of people there... there will be some clips on TV about it.. perhaps on MCM or TF1. At the signing she sung 2 songs, Adagio and I Am Who I Am, and apparently they were amazing!! If you went there, write me a review about it:)

It has also been confirmed that the album has gone platinum in France. It has also been released in Canada.. please send me your reviews about it!!!!

SUNDAY 28th NOVEMBER - AMAZING SALES FIGURES!!
Okay, here is some amazing news!! The English album sold 300,000 copies in just 2 hours in France!!! This is great news.. and I guess the album will be #1!!!

So, here is the great news!! The album has at last been released in Europe!!! All the reviews are AMAZING!!! I can't wait to get the album!!! Please, please send me your reviews of the album and I will post them on this site!!!

On Canada they album is released on Tuesday.

This is great news for everyone in France.. Lara's album is released on FRIDAY!! Just 2 more days!! In Canada the date is still 30th. Lara will be in Canada when it is released, and will promote in English-Canada in January, and the US in February... I wonder when she will come here to the UK?

A UK online store (http://www.boxman.co.uk) have the album Lara Fabian - UK version scheduled for release on the 30th, just like in France and Canada. I'm not sure this is true.. it seems really strange to release an album in the UK with no single, and no promotion.. who would buy it? I hope I can find the album somewhere.. at least in HMV or Tower's World Music Sections.. but I have a feeling that it would take them a long while to order in the CD from France.. I hope I can get it because I'm so excited for it already after listening to the clips Sony put online!!

Today, before I do the news I have done some small site updates. I changed the lyrics to Adagio. I think they are right now.. I corrected a few mistakes in them. Also, soon I will update the Christmas Messages page.. I didn't get time yet.

You might have noticed that the site is changing a little bit! This is because I am creating a Year 2000 Edition, just last until February, to celebrate the new year. There's going to be a couple of new features for the site for this edition, like Christmas Messages! Sony have confirmed the release dates for Lara Fabian: 30th November in France and Canada. I think this date is probably also for Switzerland and Belgium also.

Lara is going to perform a special private concert for Cherie FM very soon, previewing her English album. Also on TF1 on Thursday 26th, there is a Lara Fabian special including a duet of Bailamos with Enrique Iglesias!

Well! Yesterday there was a TV show, showing how Lara's English album has gone, and they played some clips of these songs. All the people who have written to me (thanks!) have said that every song is brilliant, and especially I Am What I Am is loved by just about everyone! It's an up-beat song, and sounds REALLY cool!! Everyone says it will be a #a smash! Broken Vow is described as a classic song, like Barbra Streisand kind of song.. and they played Love Again, the English version of Si Tu M'aimes.. just a few seconds but it sounds really cool!!!! Givin' Up On You is also called an amazing song, and people say it also could be a #1 smash hit!!

I really CAN'T WAIT for the album!! I have no idea when it will be released in the UK.. but it is SOOOOOO far away!! I'm sure I will be order to get a copy from France in December!!

Lara is in French magazines Gala, Salut, Télé and Platine which includes LOTS of album spoilers and stories.

Lara says in Platine magazine that Si Tu M'aimes has an English version on the new album called To Love Again!! Si Tu M'aimes is my favourite Lara song so I am really excited for this!!

First, sorry for no updates for the last couple of days - I have had lots of study to do.. so I didn't have time to update. Anyway, there isn't much news. Adagio video has finally been premiered, and people tell me that it is a very nice video! Please send me a review!! I just noticed that I have got the date wrong through most of the news section.. I changed them all so they are okay now. I also did lots of little corrections to the site.

It seems to now be confirmed that Adagio will not be released as a single. It will just get airplay to help promote the album, which looks set for 30th November in France and the same date in Canada. I'll give you more news when I find out.

Don't forget, Mariah Carey's Rainbow album is released tomorrow in the UK! Let's make it #1, Mariah fans.

Today is the day of the premier of Adagio in France and Canada! So far, no one has sent me any news on it, and all I know it that it has a different version of Adagio. So please, if you have seen it, Email me here because I'm desperate to find out what the video is like!!!

Also, on the message board there have been lots of rumours that Adagio will not be a single. Some of this came from Alex, so I guess it is probably true! This is just in France - in Canada it might still be released!

Sony have confirmed that the album Lara Fabian will be released on Canada on 30th November. Adagio has begun to get airplay now! In Europe the dates are still unsure, but for France and Belgium (and probably Luxembourg, Switzerland and Holland) the date looks like being either 1st December or 7th December. I guess Lara could be Christmas #1 in the album charts, and perhaps the singles chart.

Also a tiny bit of Mariah Carey news for you Mariah fans... Heartbreaker was released in the UK yesterday. It includes a video CD and an exclusive poster! Rainbow is set for release on 1st November, as is the #1's home video! It's a busy few weeks for Mariah and Lara.

I have read in some places, and some people have told me that the Adagio single has been released in France today. I'm not sure if it is true or not. I looked through some online French stores for information, but couldn't find any, and there was no information at the Sony France, Sony Europe or Sony Canada web sites! Also Lara's Official Site hasn't been updated... so I'm not sure. If any of you know please write to me. I guess the single will contain the English and Italian versions, but perhaps it may have a new track from the album, or even an old French track. I doubt it would have a remix.. I can't imagine Adagio having any remix versions, other than perhaps French, Spanish and obviously Italian versions.

Also keep looking out for Musique Info magazine - apparently it is pretty easy to find in Paris, and it has information about Lara and some good pictures!
