Vulcan civilization has developed, along with unique abilities that aid in survival such as the inner eyelid, or the ability to divine where water sits beneath the surface of the ground, or the Vulcan nerve pinch. b. Telepathy is now common among the population. Tribes began to interbreed to spread the new talents and mix the gene pool. 5. During the next 10,000 years: a. Vulcan society is technologically very advanced, however Vulcans remain a violent race. Wars are constantly fought using traditional means as well as new mind weapons that have been bred into the population by the heads of the different Vulcan families over the centuries. b. Space travel to the nearest planets and the asteroid belt is common. Vulcan itself is metal poor, but the harvest of metals from space has become one of the most profitable ventures known on Vulcan. c. Psi powers such as telepathy and telekinesis are now in existence and arranged marriages between the major families is used as a means to potentitate these powers in the younger family members. 6. During the next 1000 years: a. Wars continue to rage. b. Anti-Matter has been discovered on Vulcan c. Surak is born. d. Surak's teachings of emotional control and logic spread throughout Vulcan. Many follow Surak's Teachings, many choose to follow S'task and leave Vulcan to form their own world where the ancient ways are practiced. This group of Vulcans settles in an un-populated section of the quadrant and eventually grows into the Romulan Empire. 7. During the next 1000 years: a. Vulcan's perfect warp drive and begin to explore the galaxy. b. First contact is made with a planet that is recovering from its third world war. This young, violent race holds little interest for the Vulcans until it is determined that this race has developed warp technology. c. First Contact is made with a warrior race that has blue skin, ecto-skeletal armor, and antenna. d. First Contact is made with an argumentative race of porcine like beings that posses keen technological minds. e. The planets Vulcan, Terra, Andor, and Tellar form the United Federation of Planets. |
