OPENING
"First there was the colapse of civilization, anarchy, starvation. Then when it seemed things couldn't get any worse, we got the Plague. The LIVING DEATH, quickly closing it's fist over the entire planet. And then we heard the rumors; that the last scientists were working on a cure that would end the Plague and restore the world. Restore it? Why? I like the dead. I like the misery! I LIKE THIS WORLD!!!"
T H E P L O T
In the beginning of the film, we are slammed in the middle of an intense chase. Pearl Prophet and her personal bodyguard, who is accompanying her to Atlanta where the last scientists are and need information that she has regarding the cure for the Plague, are running from Fender Tremolo and his band of thugs. While they close in, Pearl decides to go off in another direction and let him deal with the thugs *heh heh heh*, and he's left to defend himself against, what seems to be, an invincible gang of thugs. Within minutes he is wrestled to the ground and learns that Fender wants to own the cure to the Plague for the praise of being the one to "own the world". Then he gets his head cut off.
Now, Pearl is left alone...for the time being. That is until Gibson Rickenbacker, a wondering traveller who possesses great fighting ability, comes to the aid of Pearl. For helping her, Pearl proposes that Gibson take her to Atlanta and give the last scientists the information they need to produce a cure. Gibson, seemingly not buying any of this, needs more convincing so Pearl explains to him she is a CYBORG(Cybernetic Organism), sent to retrieve the Plague data from a computer system in another city. But before Gibson can give a response to all of this, they are attacked by some thugs and Gibson is rendered helpless when a roof falls on top of him. Now, Pearl is under the possession of Fender who will take her the rest of the way to Atlanta.
Later, Gibson frees himself from under the rubble and looks on at Fender's destruction he left behind where he runs into a local girl named Nady Simmons, who wants to help. Along the way, Fender figures a boat would be better, so he finds a village, kills everyone it in, and takes one of their boats. Flashbacks of Gibson's past continuously haunt him about how he helped a family, Pearl's family of her and her two children, get away from the dangerous city and how Fender and his gang "killed" them, or so Gibson thought. And that is Gibson's beef with Fender.
Continuing on to Atlanta, Gibson and Nady come across various towns and villages, some of which Gibson has friends with information on Fenders general whereabouts. Again, flashbacks of his past haunt Gibson as he and Nady continue to travel through the country roads and paths where they encouter various thieves and gangs. All of which are caked by Gibson and Nady. Finally, they get to where the ocean meets the road to Atlanta, where Fender's boat will pass by in the morning, so they rest for the night.
In the morning, Gibson sees Fender's boat pass, so they get going again through the country until they reach where Fender and his gang docked their boat. This is where Gibson and Nady are encountered by Fender and his roam of thugs, who in return take a nice round out of Gibson, plus Nady hides for a while. Then one on one, Gibson and Fender square off and Gibson does his best against Fender but not too well, due to the amount of armour and shit Fender is wearing. After all the dust settles and Fender is finished kicking Gisbson's ass, we see him hanging, crucified on a sail frame of an old boat.
Hanging there, all alone, Gibson one again has flashbacks of what Fender did to him and gets really pissed off and starts to hit the sail frame he is nailed to until it breaks in half and sends him to the ground where Nady comes along and frees him. Now he's pissed. But Fender and his thugs keep on truckin' with Pearl in their possession and reach the ATLANTA CITY LIMITS.
Gibson and Nady boot to Atlanta after a quick recovery and stay waiting for Fender to arrive, ready to fight. Now, after Gibson does a good number on Fender's team with a number of weapons(bow and arrow, various knives), Gibson once again sqaures off with Fender. Fender, now removing his armour, draws on to Gibson who battle it out excessively until Big Gibson is the only man standing. Gibson takes Pearl to the last scientists and then leaves. He is needed elsewhere now.
