Miscellaneous:
Like Jurassic Park, The Lost World was based on the novel of the same name.  And like J.P., the film is loosely based on the book.
A third Jurassic Park film is in the works.  Speilberg will produce, but there is no word on if he will direct.  Also, no word if Goldblum will reprise his role again.  Michael Crichton is writing the novel now.

MPAA Rating:
PG-13 for humans killed by dinosaurs, some language.

My Rating:
Even though most people I've spoken to did not like it, I thoroughly enjoyed this film.  I was there opening night and just had a blast.  I heard people complaining that it was not enough like the book, but I had no preconcieved notions concerning the film's action.  Younger viewers should stay away, though.  The human deaths are much more violent and graphic than in the first film.  Still, it's fun to see a second trip into dino country.  Here's hoping for a third film that can still be enjoyable!
