Wonderful episode...I'm glad you guys gave us a glimpse of who Laura will be.

Crystal, although a bit late, I'd just like to say that I loved your story, "Hypergirl". I think you found a clever way to describe those feelings that parents experience when they have babies. They tend to think, "When will all this be over? I feel so tired...", etc, etc... not realizing that the *real* problems will start later on. That's why I enjoyed that ending so much: Lois interrupting the kiss she was giving her husband after hearing Laura's cry and saying that she would get her because she liked having a baby and kids grow so fast. It was Valentine's Day, but having a baby to "spoil" the moment was a good thing after all they had experienced with an unexpected adolescent girl in the house.
Only one thing left me wondering: isn't it strange that now all the Kents know how Laura will look like after she grows up? I always thought that maybe a way was going to be found for them to forget about that. Only to not spoil the surprise of knowing how Laura will look like, of course. But I guess that if everyone remembered the imp after he was gone on that fateful Christmas, then the same should happen this time. I really got a kick out of the fact that he got tricked by Laura... all over again!
I have to go now. "The Hand Of Fate" by Phil Atcliffe will be next. I'm very curious.
Keep up the good work, all you great writers. We do love your work!

Another wonderful, exciting and well-written episode, and excellent work by Crystal. The plot was breathtaking in its audacity: the baby Kent's accelerated growth, which was a plot-line Tim Minear had suggested was being considered for ABC's (cancelled - grrr) Season 5, made a thrilling story. Added to that, the characterisation of the teenage Laura was clearly written by someone who understands teenagers (shades of Crystal's excellent Full Circle), and the father-daughter and mother-daugher scenes were hilarious and heart-warming.
May we all still be around in 13 years' time when Laura is a teenager for real - I want to renew the acquaintance!

On vacation (in various planes and airports of course <g>) I *finally* got to read Hypergirl.
Hypergirl was a sweet tale, I loved the speech patterns of little Laura :o) I had printed out the story in paper-saving print mode, and later looked at it on the web for picture illustrations, and you can only imagine my happy surprise to find one of my very favorite FoLCs cast as the one and only Hypergirl herself! Gave new meaning to an already delightful story. Thanks Crys.
