Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to organize and write a new season for all of die hard fans. I am looking forward to a season 6.
Cheryl Hill (CHERYLH@onaustralia.com.au), 30 September 1998:
I just discovered that your Season 6 is starting soon. Great news, I loved Season 5, it was very, very well done. Thanks for all your work last season, and I'm looking forward to October 16th. Keep going!
IXAT33 (IXAT33@aol.com), 29 November 1998:
THANK YOU !!!!
Carol Figueroa (fanofclark@ecs.ecsnet.net), 1 December 1998:
As a die hard fan of L&C, I read as much fanfic as I can lay my hands on. And I am constantly amazed at the intuition of the writers and of your prolific writing. The list just seams to grow and grow. The imagination of the writers is endless. The way some of you are able to get into their skin is almost psychic. Star would be so proud. Thanks for the look into their lives.
Mad Dog Lane (MadDogLane@aol.com), 16 December 1998:
I love your 5th season, and from what I've read your 6th season is good too! I can't wait until the next episode! Keep up the wonderful work!
Donna Lehman (102262.2435@compuserve.com), 19 June 1999:
I think I'll just pop in here and say a big THANK YOU to you and all the others who have contributed to keeping LNC alive in the format of the series. I love these stories the best. I am just not an "off the wall" reader about what might have happened, so I don't read all fanfic but just those that seem to fit my interests. But nevertheless, I still watch my tapes faithfully and visit here and enjoy reading the "list" comments. Just "keep up the good work" as SM said in JSN.
Vivi C (vivic01@aol.com), 24 July 1999:
you guys are doing a great job i just wanted to know if you're going to continue but even if you're not i just wanted to thank you anyway- thank you.
Celia (carvalho@lexmark.com), 27 July 1999:
I've just recently finished reading Bedtime Stories, by Phillip Acliffe and The Last Time I Saw Elvis, by Ccmalo and really loved both of them. I just haven't had much time to email these authors privately with my comments...!
Kathy (RMetro1015@aol.com), 3 August 1999:
Thank you for all these great stories about my favorite couple Lois and Clark. I have only recently come upon them, so I am still in Season 5. But they have been exciting and so true to the story of Lois and Clark. Thank you again. My hope is that you continue to write these stories forever.
Amanda (honey_bee1000@hotmail.com), 3 August 1999:
You should take all your stories and tell the people who made Lois & Clark before to get all the old cast back and start it again, using your stories as scripts. If you got a petition on the internet, they wouldn't be able to say no. Thanks, Amanda PS: I loved the story
Leanne Shawler (volterra@sd.znet.com), 10 August 1999:
Just quickly skimmed through to see how Beth was doing ... unevenly, it seems! I love that she's acting against Luthor now, a shame she hasn't quite teamed up with L&C but that would be too obvious towards Lex, I suppose. Phil seems to have got the wrong handle on her way back in Bedtime Stories: Beth never trusted Lex, she's an ordinary woman dealing with an extraordinary man. A dark side of L&C as it were. Sheila did very well (as always) -- and I don't know whether this is unconscious or not, but Beth almost always seems to be calling Lex into dinner -- very motherlike! *grin*
Vivi C (vivic01@aol.com), 11 August 1999:
Wow Nice job done on all season 5 and 6 episodes. will there be season 7? the not knowing is driving me and- i'm sure many other fans -nuts! i appreciate all your efforts. :)
Wendy Richards (wendy@kingsmeadowcr.freeserve.co.uk), 12 August 1999:
All I can say, guys, is that S6 has been even better than S5 and you have done a *fantastic* job! All the writers have been excellent, and the hard work done behind the scenes by Kathy, Pam and whoever else is involved that we don't get to hear about
has resulted in a really brilliant series of episodes. All credit to you. The continuity from episode to episode has been excellent also; there were times in S5 that this wasn't quite as obvious, though S5 was always better than the filmed episodes in this regard. Very nice work in weaving the Lex/Beth thread throughout this series, dropping the odd crumb in the middle of a plot concerning something else.
Not sure I'd agree with Leanne's suggestion that Lex and Beth are 'the dark side of Lois and Clark;' I'm not even sure quite what she'd mean by that. Is Lois an 'ordinary woman'? I'm not sure she is; I'm not sure Clark thinks she is. And is Lex an extraordinary man? Or just a villain who is rather more intelligent than most?
Jaime (Lois181110@aol.com), 13 August 1999:
Season 5 and 6 were both GREAT, I really hope that ya'll continue with a season 7!!! I await each new episode anxiously and I would be so disappointed if this was the end. Keep up the good work!
James (james@bish33.freeserve.co.uk), 3 September 1999:
I just thought I'd drop a quick word to you about Season 6.
I think you're all doing a great job and I for one are real pleased that you've expanded the season to 14 episodes. It makes me feel good to know that the show still goes on as such.
Anne Kaelber (anne@nimitz.net), 5 September 1999:
I wanted to write as soon as I learned that there will be no Season 7. I am so disappointed, but as a writer myself, I understand the time it takes. I wanted to thank each and every one of you who worked on Season 5 and 6 for the laughs, the tears, and the continuity.
I will miss having a new episode to look forward to. I hope to one day see these same writers in print. Their talent is admirable. I look forward to joining the ranks of writers such as these one day soon.
Good luck in all you future endeavors and thanks again.
Alicia Utowski (Alicia3456@AOL.COM), 11 September 1999:
I also saw the debate on the message boards regarding feedback for S5/S6. I have to say, that I thought both "seasons" were absolutely incredible.
I know that I sit in front of my laptop for hours at a time, neglecting everything else, and read and reread all of the episodes, just like I watch Lois and Clark.
Kate Crane (KCrane1865@AOL.COM), 11 September 1999:
Dear Season 5 and Season 6 Writers,
Please forgive me for being so ungrateful as not to write and thank you for the wonderful episodes you have given us. I sit and enjoy these fics over and over, and never stop to send feedback. How can you keep going?? Just like those generous grandmothers who send wonderful gifts to selfish grandchildren who run off clutching their treasures, never bothering to write the thank you notes.....I am continually amazed by the progidgious amount of quality fics that I feel blessed to read, free of charge and curl up under my covers and indulge myself in a bit more of the Lois and Clark lore.
As I was reading Phil's most recent offering, I was struck again by the wonderful writing of these talented folcs. You transport us to Metropolis so seemingly effortlessly. Thank you all again and again for your time and talent and willingness to give to people that you don't know.
Nancy Smith (deimos1@EARTHLINK.NET), 11 September 1999:
I was positively thrilled to find the S5/S6 site on the net, not long after we got Internet access, and I've been following every story with singleminded fanaticism, believe me. If you haven't heard me say it before, I love both seasons ... you writers are unbelievable.
StarKitty (jilectan@HOTMAIL.COM), 11 September 1999:
Ditto for me.
I haven't been reading S5/S6 as long as Nan has, but once I started, I couldn't stop :-)
Merry Truitt (truitt22@flash.net), 11 September 1999:
I'm one of the guilty ones about not giving author feedback on season 5 & 6 stories. I'm a relative newcomer and did not get on the net until after lois and clark had finished filming. I found the archives and gradually found other fanfic sites and the message boards. When I first started reading I gave no feedback at all. I'm doing much better now.
I just read "preparations", season 6-13 - and thoroughly enjoyed it . I can not wait for the continuation.
As far as seasons 5 and 6 are concerned - I've read the stories and found them interesting, with good plot development and continuation between episodes and within episodes. I'm thoroughly hooked on the fanfic stories, both here and elsewhere. In fact, I get frustrated with some of the authors who say they are going to continue a story and don't for some reason.
To all the authors - keep up the good writing - even if it isn't for a continuation of the season stories.
Nan Smith (deimos1@earthlink.net), 12 September 1999:
I first read Bedtime Stories the second day I discovered the S5/S6 site, and at the time I knew nothing about sending feedback to anyone and wouldn't have dared if I had thought of it. I spent the next few days reading all of the episodes, then I found the Archive and for several weeks I was feverishly reading and downloading stories. Now, much later, I am getting back to doing what I should have in the beginning. Do you want to hear how I enjoyed this, and every other one of the stories in this series? Because I did. They relieved a severe case of Lois and Clark Withdrawal Syndrome. I couldn't believe the quality of the writing I found, and from that point on I was hooked. The writers of this and all the other Season 5 and 6 stories should be given medals for the amount of work they put into it, as well as the incredible story-telling ability. If they haven't heard enough gushing from me and others who have read the two seasons, please pass this on to all of them. I don't have their individual addresses--I'm still in the process of collecting them where I find them--but they should at least know that they are very much appreciated by this fan, and probably many, many more.
Tanja Lindqvist (a98tanli@student.his.se), 27 September 1999:
I came across S5 in the middle of the season, and I have been an avid and loyal fan ever since. I was thrilled to know that S5 would be followed by S6. My favorite episodes from Season 5 are Back to the Future/Time After Time, Faster than a Speeding Bullet, Oh Give me a Home, It's a Wonderful Lifetime/Second Time Around and Doctor Goose.
From Season 6 there's Strained Relations/For the Good of the Child, Turn Around/Walk in my Shoes/Mirror Mirror, Movers and Shakers, and of course Labyrinth/Preparations/ Stronger than me Alone. All other episodes are very close runner ups.
I love the way you made Lois and Clark's lives continue after the end of Season 4. Looking back at all 6 seasons I keep forgetting which episodes I've only read and which episodes I've watched. All the stories are so alive I can see them act out in my mind.
Season 5 and Season 6 are among the best Lois & Clark fanfic ever written! (And I'm proud to say I've read over 800 stories in the archive...) I was very sad to find out that there will be no Season 7. I really hope somebody decides to continue writing one, (heck, I'd do it myself if I wasn't such a lousy writer, although all the excellent stories here sure has given me inspiration!).
Well, I just wanted to thank you all for 2 wonderful seasons. I'll really miss having a new episode to look forward to...
Merry Truitt (truitt22@flash.net), 27 September 1999:
I just want to thank all the wonderful writers and all those who helped edit and get them uploaded so that we readers can read these wonderfully written stories from season 6. I'm going to miss the ongoing storyline. I've enjoyed reading your stories.
Ladyhawke (lhilliar@IDIRECT.COM), 27 September 1999:
I too would love to thank all the wonderful writers from both season five and six. They were all wonderful and I will have to go back and re-read the seasons together as soon as I have time.
All of you deserve a very big round of applause for the wonderful work that you did.
Judith Williams (judithwilliams@PRODIGY.NET), 27 September 1999:
Since I only discovered this website a short time ago, I have delighted in reading the Season 6 offerings. Now I find that there is a season 5 separate and different from TUFS. This must explain why L&C's child is a daughter in your stories. I look forward to reading S5. Add my thanks and admiration for all of you who contributed to S6. Your talent and creativity are astounding.

(MMTDR1110@AOL.COM), 27 September 1999:To All the Season 6 Authors:
I want to just Congratulate you on a terrific season!
I have been reading fanfic every chance I get, but am way behind, but I have been keeping up with the Season 6 episodes. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to send comments. I have just finished the last episode and just had to say something.
I am overwhelmed at the talent involved in writing of these episodes. I want all the authors of Season 6 to know that I thoroughly enjoyed every story. IMO, these episodes were even better than some of the ones that were on TV. I have watched Lois & Clark so much, that I can picture the characters in my mind acting out the story as I read it. If TNT ever decides to produce another season of Lois & Clark, I will highly recommend they hire you guys as the writers.
Sheila, your 3 part story about Lois & Clark switching bodies was incredible. The scenes where they are trying to adjust to the new bodies and trying to relate to each other were really funny. I enjoyed all 3 stories.
Phil, the last episodes were fantastic. "Stronger than Me Alone" had me on the edge of my seat the entire story. The power of true love is probably the strongest thing on earth. It was a very moving story.
I want to say Thank You for all the pleasure you have brought me through your stories, in keeping the Lois & Clark saga going. I encourage you to keep writing (maybe you might reconsider about a season 7), and I look forward to reading more from you.
