2/1/02 2:25pm Pramas.com banned!!!
Pramas.com correspondant, John John, sent in this shocking news. Pramas.com is spreading farther than I ever envisioned. I'm so big, that The Greater Lowell Technical High School, or the Voke as commonly referred to, has banned this website. Apparently, instead of studying the technical aspects of computers, many of the students are resorting to Pramas.com to get through the daily grind of high school. This came as news to me, and currently at press time, the system administrator at the Voke refused to comment on the banning of my site, and simply stated, "No Comment." Upon further calling and trying to get comments, the secretary always states that he is in a meeting. Hopefully, my man on the inside, John John will be able to get an exclusive interview with this man, and the answers will be divulged.
Why would a high school ban Pramas.com?
It could be the fear that all of the students' time in computer labs is dedicated to this site. Perhaps they are afraid of my influence starting a mutiny. I believe the lack of reasons behind this action to be a conspiracy starting with the system administrator. A conspiracy whose stench could go all the way to the White House in an attempt to keep me down. (Probably not that one) John John believes it is my controversial language, disgusting links, and such Pramas.com favorites as "The Chinese Man of the Week" from Week 4, or perhaps the "Human/Inflatable Woman love from Week 2. Also, "Ronald McDonald hanging" from Week 5, scares a lot of high school students. Last, but not least, John John mentioned the infamous "Ghetto Booty picture" from Week 7.
Don't worry my friends, I will not let anybody keep me down. John John and I will solve the case. I still think it's a conspiracy whose ramifications will affect many future generations of humans. You could see a movie based on this in the upcoming years. Hopefully they will get Vin Diesel to play my part. I mean, we're like brothers. Look at the comparison, it's like looking in a mirror.
1/30/02 4:43pm General Update
Hey everyone. I'm trying to get back in my groove of updating the page 3 times a week for you. I'll get better, I promise. But without further ado, I do have some things I want to talk about, so here we go. Welcome to another update of Pramas.com
The Pats are going to the Super Bowl again. They once again took on the role of underdog and defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers. My boy Brady got injured late in the second quarter, and $100 million backup, Drew Bledsoe came in and actually didn't blow it for the team. I pray to the lord that Brady starts the Super Bowl. The Pats are playing "the Greatest Show on Turf", the St. Louis Rams. Once again, no one is giving the Pats any respect. As of right now, the Pats are 14-point underdogs. It's going to be really tough, but I think the Pats can make the plays necessary for the big upset. I'm calling it now, Pats win 34-31. You heard it here first.
On an unrelated subject, my school schedule is finalized. I'm seriously contemplating switching from a Computer Science major to a Mathematics major. Why?? I don't like Computer Science at all, I did for a while, but now I just hate it. I can't imagine doing it for the rest of my life. I've always been really good at math. If I transfer over to Math, I won't need that much more to graduate, probably another two semesters. I'm giving up a guaranteed $50k a year to start in CS, to an unsure future in Math. But, we'll see what happens. Here's my schedule for this semester:

What's my forecast for this semester??
I think I can do really well if I put the time in. Exploring the Universe is going to be one of the easiest A's in my life. The Professor just doesn't care. It's great. Intro. to Operating Systems is going to be really tough. If I do well in this class, it will be enough for my Computer Science minor. I love the professor though, the man knows everything, and he's a good speaker. That should help. Life Science II is going to be a little tough. A lot tougher than Life Science I(another of my easiest A's ever). The guy is a hardass, and it's going to be a lot of memorizing and reading. I could pull off an A just because his exams are multiple choice. Differential Equations is also going to be a tough math class. A couple hours of homework every class day. It's going to be rough, this is one that I will only get an A by not missing any homework assignments, and doing extremely well on the exams.
A little bit of bad news today. There was this kid in my computer class last semester that sat in front of me. It seems like he's a couple of months away from a unibrow. It's really, really close. Anyway, I hated him a lot, because if I was asked a question, and I said the wrong answer, he would whisper things like, "NO." Or he'd shake his head in disbelief at the answer I just gave. He knew the answer 95% of the time, the 5% he was wrong made me feel really good inside, and he would be upset that he got it wrong. Anyway, back to the point, he just added the computer class today! So now I'm going to have to hear the same things over and over again. This professor is a little more about lecturing and less Q&A, so it won't be as bad. I just don't like him. Sorry.
Check back in a couple of days. I have a lot of things I need to do to catch up on this page, pics, Simpson's Trivia. It all should be done soon. Thanks, see you guys later. Holla at me with any comments.
1/24/02 10:23am I'm Back Baby!!!
After a month long vacation, Pramas.com is up and running again. Why did I take so much time off?? One reason, I just ran out of things to write about. I had to take a break and come up with some new stuff. Two, I just picked up Grand Theft Auto 3, and for a couple of weeks, that took up any spare time I had. Three, I was lazy, but that's ok, because it was my vacation, and I needed the rest. But, now school is back and I'm ready to let my millions of web visitors a glimpse into the life of Pramas.
As I update for the next few weeks, I'm going to be talking mostly about what happened over vacation, and I will also throw in some current events. But, I think this week will be all review of my vacation. So, first I'm going to start off with the greatest thing that happened to me on vacation...
On Saturday, January 19th, the Pats beat the Raiders to advance to the AFC Championship, and guess what?? I WAS THERE! The game was unbelievable. JT, my buddy from Target, and I went. We sat in the bleachers on the right side of the field, and it was intense. Our whole section was standing up for the whole game. I'll just fast forward to the end, because that is when the excitement happened. There were so many emotional changes, from deep depression to extreme bliss, it was unreal.
4th Quarter, the Pats are down 13-10, with a little over 2 minutes left. The Raiders have the ball, the Pats have no timeouts. 3rd and 1, all the Raiders need is a first down, and they can take a knee and win. We stopped them dead in their tracks. (Emotional Level on a scale from -10 being deeply depressed to 10, being extreme bliss: 5, we still have a shot at it). The Raiders punted, and Brady and the Pats started driving the field, the next big play that happened is when the Raider's Charles Woodson sacked Brady and forced a fumble (Emotional Level: -7, I thought it was over). But, then the refs reviewed the play and overturned the decision. The refs said that Brady's arm was in a forward motion, so it was ruled an incomplete pass. (Emotional Level: 8, redemption). Time was running low, so the Pats brought on Vinateri for a 45-yard field goal attempt. A really hard field goal
attempt. Because of where I was sitting, I couldn't see the kick well, the only thing I saw when he kicked it, was a line drive, that I thought would land on the 20, but three seconds later, I see the refs arms go up showing that the kick was in fact good. The whole place was going crazy. Emotional Level: -9, when I thought he was going to miss it, three seconds later when it was signaled good: 9, we tied the game, but it wasn't over yet). If anyone saw the replay, it made it through by about a yard!!!
So the game went into sudden death OT, and the Pats won the coin toss, received the ball, and drove the field. In this drive, Brady went 9-9, including a pivotal 4th and 3 conversion. Vinateri came on for a little chip shot field goal, it was good and the Pats won!!!(Emotional Level: 10, the game was unreal). This game is the greatest game I know I will ever see in my life, and it means so much that it was the last game at Foxboro Stadium. The snow and the fans made it an unbelievable atmosphere for the game. After the game I must have high-fived about 300 people. It was great.
