I first met Gabriel in February at The Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago where we were both staying. I had the concierge give him a book of Irish poetry from me and not even an hour later there was a hand-written thank you note from Gabriel under my suite's door. I was in Chicago to see "Moon" and to celebrate my 30th birthday. We were in the elevator together and in the lobby. We talked outside the Goodman Theater following the play twice. When he first came out, I was the only one waiting to see him so I had the opportunity to speak with him at some length and take pics. He then went to the van to leave with the rest of the cast, but then got out and came over to speak with me again. What a rush!! 
In NYC, Gabriel recognized me and remembered my name and that I had given him that book in Chicago. I was floored that he remembered. I had every intention of having another pic taken with him, but it didn't seem appropriate. When he recognized me it was more like, hey! it is nice to see you again. I really didn't seem right to take another pic. I have wonderful memories of meeting him and seeing his amazing portrayal of Jim Tyrone twice. 

He is humble, soft-spoken, courteous, and so charming --- a true gentleman. Precious memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

I met Gabriel for the third time this year at the taping of Madigan Men in Astoria Queens at Kaufman Astoria Studios. I was in the front row during the taping which allowed me to establish eye contact with Gabe. We exchanged smiles of recognition. Following the taping, outside the studios, Gabriel and I had our picture taken together and we talked for a few minutes. He asked me how things were in Michigan and that he still has the book I gave him at the Four Seasons in Chicago last February. When I went to shake his hand goodnight he leaned in to kiss me on the cheek. Another unforgettable experience. Gabriel is truly the most charming entrancing man on the planet.
