A Little about AdoneaAdonea travels internationally sharing information and initations which assist people to be empowered. She helps them achieve a stronger connection to their inner guidance (Higher Selves) and reconnect to the higher frequency energies of healing/wholing. She has been on her spiritual path for since 1978, and in 1989 she began traveling and learning about esoteric and alternative healing, and discovering techniques and initiations that lead to self-empowerment. Adonea has studied and put into practice spiritual principles from Eastern and Western traditions. Her Spiritual journey continues to lead her to higher and deeper levels of understanding about personal empowerment, health, healing and spiritual development. Adonea is a Teacher of the Usui Reiki Ryoho Tradition and founder of the Southwestern Usui Reiki Ryoho Association. As well she is a Gendai Reiki-ho Shihan, Traditional and Contemporary Reiki Master/Teacher. She has also studied and been initiated into Usui Shiki Ryoho, Seichim/Sekhem/Reiki VII, Tibetan, Usui/Tibetan, Tera-Mai®, Karuna Reiki®, Raku Kei, Satya Reiki, Threshold Reiki, Aguila Solar and The Radiance Technique® through various masters around the world. She has done over ten thousand hours of Reiki on herself and others; has trained hundreds of students and has written 10 manuals on Reiki. She has been actively teaching Reiki since 1994. In addition to being a Reiki Teacher, Adonea is an Ordained Minister, Certified Spiritual Healer, Bio-Magnetics Healing Practitioner/Teacher, Spiritual Counselor, Disciple of Earth Stewardship, and Brain Gym Edu-K Practitioner. Usui Reiki Ryoho Training - Reiho
Reiki as taught in Japan, as a Spiritual Discipline. Includes: initiations and certification to each level (through the Taketomi lineage), compares Usui, Hayashi and Takata Sensei's information, plus Japanese techniques. The inner meanings of the symbols and kotodama, amazing deity connections, and a lot more not contained in the manuals is also presented.

Since 1999 the Southwestern Usui Reiki Ryoho Association has been offering Reiki classes to folks from all around the globe. It is located in the quiet small village of Lake Montezuma, 20 miles southeast of Sedona and 1 1/2 hours North of Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

Includes the cronological history of Usui, Hayashi and Takata, text from Usui's memorial, precepts in Usui's handwriting, explaination of the levels and ranks in Reiho, what it is and is not and how to use it. Hand positions used by Usui, Hayashi and Takata with illustrations. Techniques include: 1 (one) mudra, Kenyoku-ho (dry bathing), Hikari no Kokyu-ho (a method for breathing of the Light), Gassho Kokyu-ho (a method of breathing through the hands), Gassho Meditation (a concentration meditation), Nentatsu-ho (a method for sending a thought or wish), Jakikiri Joka-ho (a method of purifying negative energy), Reiki Shower (a method for cleansing the body and increasing energy), Chakra Kassei Kokyu-ho (a method of activating the chakras with Reiki), Hanshin Chiryo (a method of half body treatment), Reiki Mawashi (a method of a Reiki circle), and Shuchu Reiki (a method of group treatment). Usui Hikkei and Hayashi's Hikkei (with original Japanese text) are also included.
Includes a description of the purification process, a comentary on Yantras and Mantras (Kotodamas) in Reiki and how they are used, the Japanese symbols with description, how to draw, Japanese translation, usage, origin and deity are given indepth. Also presented are the symbols hand written by Hayashi and Takata for Okuden (second degree). Techniques include: 5 (five) mudras, Hatsurei-ho (a method for generating greater amounts of Reiki), Byosen Reikan-ho (a method for sensing imbalances with your hands), Reiji (a method of allowing Reiki to guide you), Tanden Chiryo-ho (a method of de-poisoning the body), Heso Chiryo-ho (a method of navel healing), Koki-ho (a method of healing with the breath), Gyoshi-ho (a method of healing with the eyes), Seiheki Chiryo-ho (a method of treating natural habits or tendencies), Shuchu with symbols (group treatment with symbols), Nade-te Chiryo-ho (a method of stroking with the hands), Oshi-te Chiryo-ho (a method of pushing with the fingertips), Uchi-te Chiryo-ho (a method of patting with the hands), and Enkaku Chiryo-ho (a methos of distance healing).
Includes a deeper understanding of Reiho and what it means to be a Teacher. One additional symbol is given with background, origin, Japanese Description, usage and deity. A handwritten copy of Hayashi's symbols and one from Virgina Samdahl is included. Mudras are discussed in depth with their importance and application in Reiki. Techniques included: 3 (three) Mudras, Empowerments/Transformations/attunements from Hayashi for Shoden, Okuden and Shinpiden are discussed in depth. Includes the history of Reiki (story as told by Mrs. Takata), principles/percepts from the various Branches (including a copy of the original precepts in Usui's handwriting), and different ways of writing Reiki. Tells how to set up a treatment room, what Reiki is and is not, and ways of applying this unique science. Specific hand positions covering the head, front and back of the body, and their corresponding physical, mental, emotional and spiritual significance are extensively covered. Instructions are given on how to utilize Reiki with plants and animals, and basics on how to send an absentee treatment. The energy system of the body is covered as well as what can happen during the 21 day cleanse (Reiki Purification process). An extensive list of Reiki Resources are provided including, books, audio/video tapes, newsletters, suggested music, Reiki on the web and chat rooms, and a list of the various Reiki associations.
Includes a discussion of symbology and the 3 sacred symbols of second degree (a symbol sheet in Mrs. Takata's handwriting is provided), as well as descriptions of the symbols and their form, function and usage. Several methods of sending second degree absentee treatments, how to sense the energy and feel imbalances, mental/emotional balancing, ways to increase the energy for yourself and others, how to store Reiki to send continuous treatments and suggestions for using second degree to achieve maximum benefit are presented. Also included is an advanced technique for plants and animals, how to build a Reiki Manifestation Grid, how to work a list, and a Reiki Formula to dissipate uncomfortable energies. An extensive A to Z Reference Guide of Ailments is also included which describes many conditions with their metaphysical causes, and how to treat them with Reiki (some alternative treatments are also included).
Includes further discussion of symbology and Japanese Kanji, another sacred symbol with its form, function and usage, and a more indepth study of the energy system of the body. A meditation and techniques for building personal energy are discussed. An attunement technique for healing, personal growth, transformation and increased enlightenment, is presented as well as how to do an absentee healing attunement. These attunements are not initiatory, but are designed to help access more energy when giving hands-on and will catapult those who receive them often enough to new levels of wisdom, consciousness and understanding. A mental/emotional attunement technique, and attuning someone's hands to do Reiki temporarily are explained.
Includes the complete science for activating/initiating First, Second, Personal Mastery and Master/Teacher degrees (from the Traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho). Also included is comentary on the spiritual nature of Reiki, Master/Teacher exercises for controlling and directing energy, a technique using the breath and advanced techniques which increase the strength of attunements. Six (6) additional symbols with their form, function and usage are presented (from Usui/Tibetan, and Radiance branches); as well as an interesting channelled message about Reiki. To assist the newly initiated Master, a Code of Ethics for Reiki Masters, Universal Principles and a complete set of notes to teach classes in First, Second and Personal Mastery Degrees (includes outlines of classes that have worked for us) are also part of the manual.
Master Degree information in the schools of Raku Kei, Tera-Mai®, Seichim, and Tibetan Reiki are presented in this manual. It includes attunement methods for all degrees/levels/facets, and the most common symbols given in each school with the form, function and usage. Also presented are the Kanji Hand positions with explanation and usage, Reiki Master Spinal Therapy, Michael's Sword Technique, the Microcosmic Orbit and Deer Exercises as part of Reiki, The Breath of the Fire Dragon, and The Water Ceremony (HA-AHI-WAI). An Infinite Light Master Attunement, YOD Master Attunement, Group/Distance Attunement, and Empowerments for Animals and Inanimate Objects are included; as well as the histories/stories of Reiki presented in each school. It is necessary to be a Reiki Master/Teacher to truly benefit from the information presented in this manual.
