WELCOME TO THE HOMEPAGE OF SUBGROUP OF TOBACCO ABUSE

Our subgroup is one of the most active working ones in the club, and is composed of students, who do not smoke.

The aim of the subgroup is to struggle against tobacco abuse and smoking, which is the most important cause of the preventable deaths in the world and Turkey, where over 35.000 deaths occur annually.

In the context of this struggle, we try to inform young or old everybody about the harmful effects of tobacco abuse, and give consultations to everybody who smokesand wants to quit or who wants to learn how to help people who wants to quit, by activities such as mass education aimed seminaries, panels, and by brochures and posters.
