Welcome to the Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome Association USA/Canada listserv. The members of the listserv are parents of children with, and adult sufferers of, Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS). The purpose of the listserv is to share information and support with those touched by this syndrome. Announcements of association functions and relevant information are also posted to this list. Any medical advice, referrals, or discussions of drugs in this forum is not necessarily endorsed or recommended by the CVSA or their medical advisors. All such information should be shared with your own physicians.

When you wish to post an email to the group please direct your posts to cvsa@jatek.net. If you have questions or comments about the listserv or it's purpose, write Owner-cvsa@jatek.net. Many functions of the listserv (subscribe, unsubscribe, etc.) can be performed from the CVSA Mailing List Site.

We request that as a member of this listserv, you abide by the following guidelines:

1. Please do not use the listserv as a forum for personal correspondence with any one member. Posts should be relevant to the entire CVSA community. Personal mail should be between relevant individuals only.

2. To facilitate one-on-one discussions, we ask that you sign your posts to the listserv with your name and e-mail address. Not all internet service providers show users the e-mail address of incoming messages.

3. Due to the volume of messages posted, please be sensitive about the subject heading of your message. If you are replying to post, you should be able to change the subject heading as necessary. Careful attention to subject headings will allow our members to selectively scan the messages they want to read. Also, if the subject headings are relevant it makes the archives much cleaner and easier to access for specific information.

4. If at any time you want to sign-off the CVSA listserv, do not send your request to the listserv. You may unsubscribe by visiting the CVSA Mailing List Site.

To switch between digest and list modes, you must unsubscribe from one and subscribe to the other. You can perform both of these functions from the CVSA Mailing List Site.

5. Archives of past posts to the list can also be viewed and searched online at the CVSA Mailing List Site.
