The group is not trauma or gender specific.  Hurricane survivors will be welcome to attend these groups.  (Should there be a large number of hurricane survivors a 2nd group specifically for this population might be started.)  There is NO COST to attend.  This group is not meant to replace professional therapy.  Referrals can be provided.  It is primarily a support group, with an educational component, led by a trained facilitator.  Potential participants are screened via phone call prior to attending the first meeting to ensure appropriateness for this group.
