Compassionate Friends.  This a support non-profit self-help support group for parents whose child has died at any age or of any cause.  Provides support for bereaved siblings as well.  They meet in several locations in Atlanta.  Click on link above to get more information.  The Marietta chapter can be contacted by e-mail directly at jayne@tcfatlanta.org

Crime Victims Advocacy Council (C.V.A.C.).  Call 770-333-9254 or e-mail askcvac@aol.com for information on group locations and other services offered to crime victims.  Currently there are groups for crime victims and homicide survivors.  They also hold an annual victim memorial service for families and friends of those who have died by homicide or DUI crashes each April.
