This is a bereavement resource guide printed out bi-annually.  For more information contact Claudine Nickens at 770-237-3338.

Atlanta Trauma Survivors Group.  It is not trauma specific and there is currently no cost. For the most current information click on the link.

Compassionate Friends.  This a support non-profit self-help support group for parents whose child has died at any age or of any cause.  Provides support for bereaved siblings as well.  They meet in several locations in Atlanta.  Click on link above to get more information.  The Marietta chapter can be contacted by e-mail directly at jayne@tcfatlanta.org

Crime Victims Group.  Meets off I-75 Northside Drive area.  See Crime Victims Advocacy Council below for further contact information.

Crime Victims Advocacy Council (C.V.A.C.).  Call 770-333-9254 or e-mail askcvac@aol.com for information on group locations and other services offered to crime victims.  Currently there are groups for crime victims and homicide survivors.  They also hold an annual victim memorial service for families and friends of those who have died by homicide or DUI crashes the last weekend in April.

Homicide Survivors Support Group.  Meets in downtown Atlanta at 170 Garnett St.  Contact Sonya Love at 404-865-8127 for more information on the meetings.
