E-Mail Lists for Professionals
Traumatic-Stress Forum: This list focuses on psychological trauma disorders. To obtain information on joining send an e-mail to listserve@listp.apa.org and type the command line "info traumatic-stress" into the body of the message. This list is not exclusively for professionals.
Dissoc: This is a moderated list which discusses matters relating to dissociation. To join send e-mail to listserv@maelstrom.stjohns.edu and in the body of the message type "subscribe dissoc your name."
Disaster Mental Health (DMH): This moderated list discusses mental health issues related to disasters. Send e-mail to listerv@maelstrom.stjohns.edu and in the body of the message type "subscribe DisastMH your name."
AABT Disaster & Trauma SIG: This is a closed special interest list of the Association for Advancement of Behavior Therapy (AABT) only available to AABT members in this special interest group. For those who are members or interested in becoming one send e-mail to listserv@OKstate.edu and in the body type the command "subscribe AABT-Trauma-SIG your first and last name."
People with Disability: PTSD: This list unlike most of the above is open to survivors (and their families) and professionals alike. The focus here is on people with a disability and PTSD. To join send e-mail to listserv@maelstrom.stjohns.edu with the command "subscribe PTSD" in the body of the message.
