Dermatologic Resources on The Internet

For those who have read my November 2000, editorial, I am awake and happy that they are reading my what I call editorial.
Being awake, I had the chance to surf the net and realized that the internet now include a lot of excellent resources for dermatology education. I think that linking good educational sites would create an extremely good educational material. It is time for the international academic dermatological bodies to think of and start an advisory site that ranks resources and work on a guidelines for dermatologic web sites.
I am monitoring awareness and use of the internet in my country Egypt and feel that the progress is rapid and is very promising. Although very good progress is happening in the infrastructure needed for good internet service, more effort is needed at the level of educational networks to improve its efficiency.
