This was a valiant attempt at compiling a daisho. These are both production pieces I bought from two different retailers. As you can see, the drags on the scabbards of the two swords are different. Minor detail. They are still two of my favorite pieces, and they have a few intriguing features. Both have what was advertised as a gold inlay on the blade - I highly doubt the use of actual gold on retail blades being sold out of magazines, but I can't really prove them otherwise. Both blades have a fuller, which I think makes any sword look more elegant. Also, the scabbards for each harbor a dagger and some other pointy implement (there's no other name for it).

Above all else, these two swords are simply aesthetically pleasing. Even if I did fuck up with the drags.
