Chaos was first started by 3 individuals. Mike (chaos_ne0_ab0lisher),
Karen (chaos_oblivious) and Collin (retired from yahoo checkers).
I (Mike) was in this new team ES - Exceptionally Skilled,
this was about to be one of Yahoo's elite teams. I was barely
a 1700 player, and I got dismissed from the team for failure
to accomplish 1700 rating. Karen was also with me on ES,
she was an extraordinare in checkers, she was probably yahoo's
best female 1/0 player, she easily can get a name red in
no time. She didn't like it much when they let me go from
ES, so she quit. We got together one night all 3 of us (Mike,
Karen and Collin) and decided to launch chaos. I (Mike)
was the one that came up with the name and they both liked
it, while we were there at the table coming up with a team
name, Chaos just came into my mind.
That night we decided to launch Chaos, immediately we recruited
a couple of members. Mike was still barely a 1700 player.
In about 2 weeks into Chaos we were challenged by ES to
a tourney, which they won. Though it was a very weel fought
Tourney by our guys, alot thought Chaos will fall, but we
didn't we became even stronger and a little after that ES
died.
Chaos then became to grow and grow and grow. We became
easily 60 deep, it was a huge team. Chaos in no time became
one of Yahoo's elite team of all time. Chaos had players
that are legends now in the world of Yahoo Checkers, players
including: Dale (chaos_juggal0), Dan (chaos_76_sixers),
Balinor (chaos_balinor_hendel) thats just to name a few.
This first Chaos team lasted 8 months until Chaos died.
Chaos was again brought back by Luis (chaos_gladiat0r) and
he gave his all to team and as most of you know Chaos again
died out. Chaos was brought back about another 2 times and
of course unsuccessfully.
Now here we are again, Chaos is back in full affect. This
time we got committment from members, to stay together no
matter what. Hopefully they will stick to their word. Yes
we know alot of you are saying that Chaos will die again,
I tell you this, we will go as far as the members takes
us......is all about committment and dedication.
