Though long out of print, this is an EXCELLENT reference book on the Consolidated B-24 "Liberator" and is well worth the effort to find. Mr. Blue covers the initial conception, the design, testing and development of the most produced of all World War II American aircraft. In addition, he goes into detail about each model, and all variants. This is not a dry recitation of statistics, but an interesting recounting of how the Liberator came to be, how it was built, how it was used, and how it was relegated to virtual oblivion, all in the space of 6 years.
