     Shipping targets dominated the 10th's operations during November with mining operations playing the lead role. On the nights of 6/7, 8/9, 12/13, and 13/14 B-24s dropped mines in the Rangoon River attempting to halt all traffic on the river north of Rangoon. On the 25th B-24s borrowed from the 14th Air Force's 308th Bomb Group (H) attempted to bomb Rangoon, but were forced to turn back due to weather. B-25s, covered by P-51s managed to bomb Rangoon's Mingaladon airfield, doing heavy damage. The B-25s were intercepted by Japanese fighters and in the ensuing air battle the bombers and their escort claimed 2 enemy aircraft destroyed, against the loss of 2 P-51s. B-24s, with P-38s escorting, and B-25s covered by P-51s bombed Isein, Burma on the 27th. A fierce attack by Japanese fighters claimed 6 US Fighters and 3 B-24s against the loss of 19 Japanese aircraft. On the 28th B-24s bombed the Botataung docks at Rangoon, claiming 4 Japanese interceptors shot down. On that same date Sagaing was hit by B-25s.

During November, a detachment of the 71st Liaison Squadron, US Army Forces, CBI, based at Ledo, India was sent to Kunming, China with L-4s and L-5s, and the detachment of the 530th Fighter-Bomber Squadron, 311th Fighter-Bomber Group, at Kurmitola, India with A-36's returned to it's base at Dinjan, India.

The 459th Fighter Squadron, 80th Fighter Group, transfers from Karachi to Kurmitola, India with P38s on the 5th.
