OUR PRESENT HEATING SYSTEMS IN ACOMMODATION AREAS.
Economy and environment is a kind of partnership that goes along
together.
I live in Sweden, so I donīt know much whatīs going on around the world,
but I have visited a few countries, incl. Dayton US.
Today we use our long ago stored resourses (fossil energy) to maintain our
comfort. These are borrowed sunenergy which are not endless, but will show
shortage eventually.
I want us to save this energy in order to make it last longer, as well as to
give us a better environment.
In my veiw, there is no new source of energy that will save the wold,
because if a new form of energy is invented, still there will be
pollutioning problems to deal with, and therefore, cutting of the high
consumption is nessecary anyway.
EU the European Economic Community to which Sweden belongs, is proposing
their members to cut of the household equippment stand-by powers, in order
to save up to 10 % of the household electric energy.
That will save 10 % of the 25 % total household energy, or 2.5 % total.
My idea is to start saving 10 - 30 % of the total household energy, simply
by adjusting and enhancing the heating systems in our houses.
What I learned by dealing whith solar systems, was that if you
replace an oilfurnace system whith an renewable source, you have to
correct all major disorders in the old system,
before you will notice any significant improvement.
And I think this goes along whith all other types of alternative
energysources as well.
And it is equally important to maintain the shape of
the old heating system anyway.
ABOUT THE LONG TERM VIEW
It is never gonna be an ultimate solution of the energy supply, because
negative effect follows all exaggerative use of energy.
So, in my point of view, we need to be more economical in any case.
POSSIBILITIES ARE HUGE
We have been relying to our fossil oil for so long, and the majority of
mankind seems to be blindfolded, as the market is cold as ice.
I hope we will awake before a catastrophic situation arises.
When this happens, all the sunpower is there for use.
This section however, isīnt gonna make much sence outside Sweden until I
learn more from you.

A COMMON HEAT SYSTEM
Here in Sweden, a very common system is hydraulic, and composed of a boiler
whith a chimney, an oil combustioner and various heat radiant elements
around in the house.
This is what I think about Ohio US heatsystem, the one I saw.
There is an electrical air conditioning system, air to air (i.e.
source media = air and distributing media = air) which gives the cooling.
For heating purposes there is an electrical resistance array in the airflow.
This is two simple and reliable systems, but not very economical.
