June 2, "idiotic jerks"

Hey guys. You said to write about anythink on your mind so I thought I'd write this. Alot of people think sk8ers are idiotic jerks. Then we skaters get screamin mad right back at them. But can't any of ya understand why. They pay money for their curbs and stuff and we come up and wreck it up. Maybe [maybe] if we stopped acting like jerks [and alot of us do] they would see skaters aren't so bad and let us skate there. And if they didn't, so what? Well if ya agree with me ok, and is ya don't ok. Just rightin what I'm wounderin.

August 1, "The Fun of Skateboarding"

Skateboarding has been around for quite some time now. I remember when I first picked up a skateboard. I had seen some skateboarders skating at an abandoned gas station, it looked sooo awesome, I just had to start skateboarding. So, my mom and I stopped at Wal-Mart, and got a Nash. I hate Nash's soo much. They are just very cheasy. Sand "grip tape", and some wannabe wheels, and a hack of a set of bearings. Well, 20 bucks...I skated my nash for a while, and as I started to get more into the skateboarding community, I saw that other skateboarders had 2-tailed skateboards, with FAST bearings, and NICE boards. I wanted one very bad, so I traded a friend of mine, something I had, and he gave me his old Stereo skateboard. It was just the deck, and he gave me a set of Old-School trucks. I found some better bearings, and I had myself a "Real Skateboard." I kept skateboarding, and progressing. I wanted to get my friends into skateboarding, so I could skateboard with them. Thats when Johnathan started skateboarding. ( Johnathan is the other Webmaster for urbanskater.8m.com ) He got a "Hot Pepper" Veraflex board. He picked up skateboarding very fast, and was very good. I just kept skateboarding, and pushing myself to do more. I was quite a wuss. But I managed to push myself to do things I would'nt normally do. * Thanks to Johnathan. Well, the pictures you see on Urban Skater of me skateboarding, are like 2 years out of date, and may make me look like a beginner, but such is not the case. I will post some new ones soon.
