The first time I EVER saw Eww...You're a Girl & Girls Suck! was at SWÉ (Some Wonderful Entertainment) at Thornlea Secondary School (Hey, that's MY school and Paul's and Ryan's and Rich's..way back in November.. uh, I think thats right.. That was in 1997.
Anyways..I remember my friends, Matt and Geoff went up and starting slam dancing and shit like that.. I didnt go up..but it was still cool..
The second time I saw them was at Thornstock'98. Again, this was at Thornlea Secondary school. They kicked some royal ass.. They were the best band around. Im sorry, I just HATE "Steel Toe Sandle" they truely do suck.. and I dont give a shit what ANYONE says!!
And, back to Eww... Anyways, Thornstock was the first time I heard "2 become 1" ~ Spice Girls cover.. Eww...Style!! I LOVED it! By the way, Ryan is really cool when he runs around in the crowd while playing uh..shit.. what does he play? Anyways he's still cool. and I admire Rich's drumming (Im a drummer too, but not as GREAT as Rich).. He's Cool!! As is Mike..And he goes to Westmount (I think) if anyone wanted to know!...Ok, I think thats it for the second experience.
When Eww...You're a Girl & Girls Suck! First released their CD, my friend Geoff bought six copies from Paul. I got one of them.. and he sold 4 of the others to friends. I LOVED the CD.. Its GREAT!!!!!!!!!! And well, I played it over the phone for a bunch of people.. So I sent Eww...You're a Girl some Email..YES, THEY DO WRITE BACK! ~ Always! And I told Paul that I wanted some more CDs.. and after my Math exam (I did my French exam in the morning) I met Paul by my locker (uh.. it was in the tech hall).. I bought SEVEN more CDs off Paul. Then a few weeks later I bought another 5 off him and sold them to friends (NO PROFIT WAS MADE ~ I was a dumbass, eh!?) Anyways.. About 3 weeks ago (its now August 17th/98) I bought 10 CDs off Paul.. I needed more..since I had sold a bunch to people outside the country.. to some damn Americans... And Kim (my bestfriend) said that she convinced about 6 or 7 people to buy Eww... CDs. I then went out and bought another 5...When I went all the way down to Kim's place.. all her friends changed their minds and didnt want CDs.. I was stuck with $75 worth of Eww... CDs.. (NOT A BAD INVESTMENT!).. Anyways, I recently sold one to my dad's friend.. He actually liked them.. and he's OVER 40!!!! Right now I am stuck with about 12 CDs ($60 worth) but Im not upset.. Im fucking pissed!!!!!! I need MY MONEY!!!! But oh well.. Now onto my third Eww...Experience..
Today, well actually, yesterday... I saw Eww...You're a Girl & Girls Suck! LIVE at The 360, Downtown Toronto. They played with bands like 5 Finger Discount (had SOME good music), and The Stiffs (were kinda cool!.. but NOT as great as Eww...) Anyways, I met Barbi!!! Cool, eh?! Did you have fun? Im sure you did! Paul actually touched your shoulder!!!!! *L* And Im sure Barbi DID have fun. She got to sing part of "Being Neutered" up on stage with Paul and the rest of the band. You were great!!!!
Oh yea, I sold ANOTHER CD at The 360 to Kim (it was for one of her friends..) Uh, Kim..Dont forget you still owe me $5.
Guess where was!? guess! guess!! I just back from Newmarket. Eww..You're a Girl & Girls Suck played with...uh.. my sis (Susie!) went to get the flyer so I can tell u who played. Um, all I can say is that Eww... was the best band there!!

SORRY!!!..Its taken SOO long to write about the Reverb show..just I havent had any time at all. It is the 10th of the new year. That show @ The Reverb was so fucking awesome. Eww... Opened the show, followed by Marilyn's Vitamins!!! The Smugglers..I just cant say enuf The Smugglers... I wish I had heard of them AGES ago..
Um..As fer Eww... lets see... what was cool about the show? Um, Ryan wore a dress on stage..Well, its part of the new clothes (uh, shit whats the werd Im lookin for?)..Well, its part of the new "Eww...Wear". Its fuckin awesome. I gotta get me a shirt or dress or something!!! Im definately gonna get some patches. The shirts are $10, dresses are..uh..I have no clue.. and i believe the patches are 50 cents each.. (2 dif kinds of patches).
Rich kept having problems with his pedal and stuff. Ryan was his usual self..kept running around and around and around..
As for Mike..I dont know if I should tell you.. You think I should? ok..I will. He brought along a pink penis..well, it was a dildo but anyways. You know what, lets just ferget the whole thing.
I went down to the show with Geoff and Lindy. Down there we met up with Kath, Jenn, and Rebecca. Mark (from the cottage) and his cuzin were there too.. We were all there.. cept fer Barbi (my deepest regrets go out to her..)
I know this is really short and shit like that. But, it IS 312am..and I got school tomarrow, so I think i should go. Ill try to make my next entry a bit longer..kay!? its a promise!! <--that Ill TRY!!. hehe. The next Eww... Experience shall be Sunday, February 21st, 1999. <----HEY!! Thats the Charity PUNK show that I am hosting!! Make sure you are there!! Its at 130pm @ The 360 (326 Queen Street West), Toronto. Other bands on the bill are... Marilyn's Vitamins (I cant get enuf of them!), Out of Hand (Have the bestest song.. Grade 9 Slut), Random Killing (I dont know their songs by heart or anything, but are fucking awesome too), Hoodrat (Barbi says they are good..so they are good!), RoBgeRne (He's the bestest!!!!...Go Rob Green!), and last and LEAST (hehe..im sooo mean)..Go Dog Go (I promised Ashley Id let her bf's band play).
Damn..i totally fergot to mention my Eww... experiences from my show. i know this should be in total detail, but i am in a rush. They were really cool and stuff.. it was an awesome show..come out and support more "ON THE CAN" shows. Um....yea, I also saw Eww... last nite with Ate Crayons and 2 other SHITTY bands.... Eww... was greater than ever.!! they played a few new songs. I really thought this was one of their best gigs lately.. Well, gotta go..sorry...
DECEMBER 29th/99
It is now 3:37am on December 29th, 1999. I havent been posting my Eww...experiences in a LONG time.. but today is definately worth it. Today..or last nite actually was Marilyn's Vitamins' last and final show. *cries* It was an amazing show. Other bands that played this show (Ductape's 5th Anniversary) were: Eww.. (of course!), Tri-lams, Doug, The Moops, The Meligrove Band, and The Stiffs.
For this show, Paul had his head shaved and stuff. He wore a crazy-ass suit and uh, spoke in a British Accent. Ryan was as nuts as usual. Mike came up dressed as a clown smoking a cigar. This was not a show you wanted to miss.
This show also marked the release of, "Spilled Milk" a new 4 band , 20 song compilation on Ductape records. Guess what?? Eww...You're a Girl & Girls Suck actually THANKED ME!!!!. Yes, they did. Im in the CD booklet.. Mike G. Thats me!!!!!! ok.. well, its getting late.. i hope to be back writing on here soon.. Be sure to check out my new issue of ON THE CAN FANZINE...Im outta here.
