Global Solution Strategy
Realise the Interconnected Web of Life
- respect the Earth and take responsibility for all our actions, being
aware of the consequences for vital ecosystems;
- contribute to intergenerational equity by planning for future
generations;
Protect Natural Heritage and Biodiversity
- cease further destruction of, and protect in perpetuity, all
remaining old-growth native forests and areas of high conservation value;
- protect wilderness, wildlife, oceans, lakes and rivers;
- accelerate training and employment programs to repair previously
cleared and degraded land, by companion-planting a mixed variety of trees and crops;
- preserve the genetic diversity of seeds, plants and animals;
- discontinue use of pesticides and other pollutants which contaminate
food, air, soil and waterways;
- use extreme caution in the development of genetic engineering, and
substances which have the potential to interfere irreversibly with natural processes;
Respect indigenous peoples of the world
- reconcile with and learn from indigenous peoples, their cultural and
spiritual traditions, and the wisdom of elders;
- ensure full and permanent representation of the world's indigenous
peoples at the United Nations;
- uphold self-determination and native-title aspirations world wide;
- support the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous
Peoples;
- honour the inheritance of traditional knowledge and sacred materials;
Promote sustainable living by example
- educate to stabilise world population and provide comprehensive and
free family-planning assistance;
- incorporate into education systems: reverence for nature; sustainable
land use; skills for birthing and parenting; effective communication, self-esteem and
creative artistic expression;
- adopt the world's best practices and reduce, reuse and recycle to
minimise our consumption of Earth's finite resources;
- co-operate internationally to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions and
replace fossil-fuel technologies with safe and renewable energy systems;
- increase the provision and use of public transport systems;
- purchase only environmentally responsible products;
Use Permaculture to end world hunger
- encourage individual and community self-reliance through natural
low-impact landcare strategies, and Local Exchange Trading Systems;
- institute the establishment of efficient, sustainable food and
medicine gardens, as productive permaculture learning opportunities, in schools,
backyards, parks, gaols and rehabilitation centres;
- propagate, plant and care for trees, intercropped with complementary
vegetation, in all possible city, urban and rural areas to produce fruits, nuts,
vegetables, herbs, grains, fibre and fuel, to help end hunger and poverty;
- supersede monoculture and intensive animal farming with
high-yielding, diverse, sustainable organic agricultural systems;
Practise composting to restore soils
- produce valuable humus-rich soil for home, municipal, farm and
forestry use, by composting currently wasted biodegradable materials;

- replace artificial fertilisers with fine rock dust and humus to:
remineralise soils, increase the nutrient value of food crops, and boost resistance to
plant disease;
- process sewage for use in the reclamation of degraded and desertified

Acquire health and immunity efficiency
- promote co-operation between medical sciences and natural healing
methods;
- practise the wisdom of Hippocrates, who said, "Let food be your
medicine and medicine be your food";
- attain and maintain physical and mental well-being, by combining an
optimistic attitude with a nutritious diet of fresh living foods, including sprouted seeds
and grains, fruits, vegetables, herbs and nuts;
- avoid health-reducing substances such as tobacco and all drug abuse;
- inspire everyone to realise their highest physical, intellectual,
emotional and spiritual potential;
Convert the Military to Earth Repair
- redirect the funding, technological expertise and resources of all
national military services, towards implementing the Earth Repair Charter Solution
Strategy as the priority within each country;
- enable all nations to participate in expanding the United Nations
Global Peace-keeping Operations;
- decommission and eliminate nuclear armaments, land mines and all
other methods of mass destruction;
Resolve conflict with creative mediation
- ensure basic human rights and freedom of speech for all;
- learn, develop and encourage the skills of conflict resolution
everywhere;
- expedite participatory democracy between people and their elected
governments and councils;
- nurture equality; respect and understanding between: age groups;
individuals; genders; families; communities; cultures; races; and religions;
- stop the glamorisation of war and violence;
- motivate the media to be positive, accurate, responsible and
peace-making;
Join with others for a common purpose
- commit yourself to achieving the local and global objectives of this
Charter ;
- propose its goals for adoption by education, religious, political,
business, legal, military and community groups, and for legislation by governments and
councils;
- unite with others and take this unique opportunity to contribute
towards a peaceful, safe, healthy and abundant Earth where all can live in love, harmony
and beauty.
The Earth Repair Charter directs all Nations to:
- Progressively convert funds, technological expertise and resources
from national military services and adopt the world's best practices, to implement all
objectives of the Earth Repair Charter Solution Strategy;
- Participate in expanding the United Nations Global Peace-keeping
Operations, and change the name and intent of national military defence forces into
Creative Mediation and Conflict Resolution Services;
- Prohibit the manufacture of and trade in nuclear and other military
weapons, and immediately dismantle all land mines;
- Ensure adequate food, shelter and health care to all in need;
- Assist communities with establishing diverse, sustainable organic
agricultural systems, including soil remineralisation and composting facilities, and
planting and cultivating increasing quantities of fruit and nut trees, intergrown with
companion forest food, herb and medicine gardens to alleviate hunger and malnutrition;
- Train military personnel and volunteer civilians to be readily
available to assist with combating air, water and soil pollution and as rescuers in the
event of natural disasters.
