As a Pagan and Witch I firmly believe it is my responsibility to care for the Earth, our Mother. In fact, while I wouldn't shove it down anyone's throat, I do think that any Pagan worth their salt should be an environmentally-friendly person. How can you claim to worship an entity that you destroy? There are lots of environmentally-friendly ways to live. Hopefully on these pages I'll be able to help you with a few of them. At the moment this site is mainly concerned with Australia, but I'm constantly adding new things and this includes more global news and links.

Recently I've become interested in two areas: Biodiversity and Genetic Engineering. Over the coming months I will be adding new sections on these areas. The first part of Biodiversity is here:

A little about me: Well, I am an eclectic Witch; a Pagan, 43 years old. As a Witch I have a deep interest in the survival of the Mother because it is from Her that I receive my spirituality, my strength and my deepest joys. I have been a long-time political activist and environmentalist, from the days when as a child I made circular herb and flower gardens, rockeries and vegetable patches in London, England, to now, living in the Australian bush. I am a member of the New South Wales branch of the Australian Greens party, the mid-North Coast Branch to be exact. After a few years "off", I thought it about time I got my finger out to do a few things.

If you want to help with this web site, the best thing you can do is send me information to help cut down my surfing time and download fees! If you know of any on-line Australian environment newsletters or other eco-friendly news sources, let me know. If you want to send me information about environment actions and campaigns in your area, DO IT! Whatever you feel is important, interesting or useful, I am just an e-mail away.

I support the East timorese in their struggle for self determination and independence from Indonesia. If you want to find out more, I have prepared a page of links here.

This environment web site has been moved from my other web site, The Witch's Workshop, which was beginning to get full... See the site map below to navigate Caring for the Earth, Our Mother.
