HOME BOX 1 HABITAT |
Our garden is in a
semi-rural area. We are located on the Northern edge of Horsham in West Sussex, England,
UK. The aerial photograph was taken on 1 October 1997.
The houses were built in 1993-4 and the gardens are beginning to mature now, with some small trees and large shrubs. On the Western side of our garden there is a 10 metre wide strip of land planted with a variety of native trees and shrubs. This provides good cover for the birds and a corridor linking the built-up area to the nearby countryside. The local countryside is a mixture of woodland and open farmland. To see a list and some photographs of birds that visit our garden have a look at the SPECIES page. |
