Under construction.
What is intended for this page is a photo essay on a typical day
of a cadet. It will include snaps of the cadet brushing his teeth, running
for the PT fall in, gating late and consequences. Classes, breakfast and
so on......till after lights out, the young cadet pulls the blanket over
his face, Mussoorie lights blinking in the distant winter. A very creative
effort is desired of the highest quality. The essay should serve a two
pronged purpose of giving prospective cadets of the school an idea about
the life in the school that is eventfully attractive despite its hardships.
And also to recreate with exactness the reality so as to strike a distinct
chord in the hearts of the old boy who would go back by many many years.
Preferably it should be a single cadet followed through the day. Though
it will contain interactions of that cadet with others. A young, sensitive,
expressive, photogenic choice of a face from amongst the cadets is also
required. There are some Time Life books which contain excellent photo
essays.
I have discussed the subject with Goyal Studios, who were quite
receptive about the idea of a high quality internet presence (quality and
assured traffic) with full picture credits. But they are asking for a tall
sum. If the tall sum is acceptable to us, or we pool in our ideas and produce
a good one ourselves will be decided subsequenltly. The latter idea is
better. So let us start collecting the ideas on what each photograph should
entail.
Thanking you..... "Bhatta"
