Research
My research focused on identifying means through which the Internet can be used effectively to support decision making in business.
It culminated in the building and testing of WorldInfo, an on-line prototype of an information resource accessible through the World Wide Web intended for use by decision makers dealing with International Business and the Design of products and services for Global Markets.
The WorldInfo prototype was tested by actually having potential users visit the site and providing feedback by filling out questionnaires. The potential users were reached by posting messages about the project in mailing lists dealing with relevant subjects such as International Business, Industrial and Interface Design and Management Information Systems.
