CECAD-FSF TDOW module is able to analyze wave propagation in coastlines within braking zone. It can be used to simulate refraction and reflection of short waves in
harbors, ports, jetties and so on. The module is based on solution of mild slope equation.
CECAD-FSF TDOW module provides the following services:
- Importing data generated by CECAD-FSF MAP module.
- Analysis of short waves in an onshore zone.
- Editing data file, using an especial spreadsheet-based editor
- Visualize drawing of computational results.
- Parameter drawing of computational results.
- Animating computational results.
An example of TDOW output is shown in the following picture. It illustrates propagation of wave while crossing a narrow entrance (all boundaries are open).
