program that leads young people, ages 6-12, on a fun-filled
journey into the beautiful and amazing world of plants and

in Control

This
is a safety awareness program designed to help Club members
ages 8-10 develop the personal safety habits and practical
skills needed to be safe at the Club, at home and in their
neighborhood.

Power
Hour
|

This
program helps Club members ages 6-12 be more successful in
school by providing homework help and tutoring and encouraging
members to become self-directed learners.

Family
Support
|
|
|
This
program seeks to provide services to families empowering
and strengthening adults in their roles as parents, nurturers
and providers.

Fine
Arts Exhibits Program
|
|
|
This
Year-round program encourages artistic expression among Club
members ages 6-18 through drawing, painting, print making,
collage, mixed media and sculpture displayed at local and
regional exhibits.

National
Photography Contest
|
|
|
Thisyear-roundprogram
and annual contest encourages girls and boys ages 6-18 to
learn and practice black and white and color process photography
and express themselves in creative and unusual ways. The photography
contest provides local recognition and national awards.

Jazz
Band Program

Sponsored
by the Central PA Friends of Jazz, this program provides Club
members with jazz instruments and lessons who might not otherwise
have the opportunity to learn about music and play an instrument
and , thereby, further their cultural and social development.

Explorers
|

This
small group program introduces young people ages 13-15 to
a wide range of career opportunities.

Job
Ready
|
|
|
A
program that prepares Club members ages 15-18 to enter into
and be successful in the world of work. It focuses on helping
teens work toward self-sufficiency by providing work maturity
skills training and professional support before and during
employments
|

|
Keystone
Club
|
|
|
Keystone
Club are chartered small-group leadership and service clubs
for boys and girls ages 14-18. Keystoners elect officers and
plan and implement their own activities in six areas: service
to the Club and community, leadership development, education
and career exploration, unity, free enterprise and social
recreation.

Quick
SMART
|
|
|
This
prevention program provides teens ages 13-18 with the skills
to refuse steriods, tobacco, alcohol and other drugs and premature
sexual involvement. It also teaches teens how to avoid becoming
infected with HIV, the AIDS virus.

comprehensive small group program that assists members ages
11-18 in exploring a career in youth or human services.
