Are you a Yahoo! GeoCities member using Yahoo! PageBuilder? Or perhaps you want to have a GeoCities web page and think learning HTML is too much? Then this is the place for you. Unlike my other section of the site, where it deals almost solely with HTML codes, this section simply deals with how to make your page in PageBuilder.
Just to give a short background on the program, it was once known as GeoBuilder. This was before GeoCities and Yahoo! merged. It was developed because too many web "newbies" wanted a decent website without having to learn HTML. GeoBuilder was gradually updated and improved from its original experimental version into what it is now. When Yahoo! took over GeoCities, they renamed it to fit in with the Yahoo! name. Yahoo! PageBuilder is what's known as a WYSIWYG editor (stands for: what you see is what you get.) Basically this means that wherever you place an object (i.e. pictures, text, etc.) in the editor, it will stay true to where you place it. If you are looking for HTML help, please go to the main section of this site. Also, if you are looking for free graphics, please head over to the Graphics Source. Use the links on the side to navigate this site. If you can't find what you are looking for, try out the FAQ (frequently asked questions) database. If your question isn't addressed in there, there is a feature through the FAQ section to have your question added. For direct questions, email me at lynsresources@yahoo.com. |

Webmaster was a Yahoo! GeoCities Community Leader in the neighborhood of Hollywood, although the program is not really active anymore. Please email me at knarrly@yahoo.com if you need help with your homepage, or Yahoo! GeoCities in general. Most graphics and headers were made using Paint Shop Pro. Please do not take any images off these pages without my permission. If you are looking for a logo or header for your own website, use the request form at Graphics Source. |
