You
have this song on a CD, and you find yourself tapping on a table or your lap
while listening to it? Well, I know I
like... but how many different sounds can you make out of that chair? Or that
fork? Three? That's where
Pdrums kicks in... I've made this cute software, that lets you drum on your
keyboard, but generate real drums sounds! There are 28 different sounds.. All keys are
modifiable, and so are the sounds names. Since I can't really match sounds
with their drums' names, I called them Drums 1 2 3..., Hat 1 2 3..., Bass 1 2
3... and so on. If you know the right names, and want to help me out here,
change the names on your user interface, and send me a file called DRUMS.SET
, that is in your Pdrums directory. Well enough
people told me they have troubles with the OLD Pdrums program, so I've
gathered a few spare hours I happened to got, and wrote a new PDrums software
- for windows! The new version does all what the old version does, except it
uses DirectSound for audio output, so if your Windows(r) 2000 (And Probably
XP too) works with your sound card, it'll work with WinPDrums as well. Note:
I've teseted it on Windows(r) 98, and it didn't work well, so try at your own
risk. To hear what WinPDrums can do, click here. Please note the quality
was decreased, and it's my lame drumming skills you hear... To download
WinPdrums, click here. Download Sandeep
Pinge's drums.set file for WinPdrums, it will give the drums better names than
I originally did... Thanks Sandeep! Click
here to download it. To download
