Pulp Fiction is three stories intertwined into one movie. It incorporates sex, drugs, violence, and comedy into a concise and brilliant made movie. Both the beginning and the end of the movie take place in a diner. In matter of fact the diner scene is one continuos scene but is broken up by flashbacks. Here in the diner Pumpkin and Honey Bunny are discussing a plan to rob the diner while the two main characters, Vincent and Jules, are getting some breakfast before returning a briefcase to their boss, Marsellus Wallace. During the first flashback we meet Jules and Vincent as they proceed to Brett's house (one of Marsellus's middlemen) to recover a briefcase that he refuses to give up. When the two hit men enter Brett's apartment, Brett is overwhelmed by harassment and is murdered by Jules and Vincent. The two exit and the screen goes black as a new scene begins. A conversation between Marsellus and Butch, a boxer, arises as Jules and Vincent enter in T-shirts and shorts. The boss and the boxer are discussing a fight that Butch would lose so that Marsellus would win the money from the fight. Before long a new scene begins that includes excessive drug use and some romance. While Vincent takes Marsellus's wife, Mia, out for the night, she overdoses and almost dies but is saved when Vincent gives her an adrenaline shot. The movie then switches to the boxer again as he runs out of the fight and the viewers are quick to spot that he didn't fix the fight and instead he actually won. The next set of scenes involves the hit men trying to catch up to this boxer. As the boxer returns to his apartment to retrieve an important watch that his father left him he confronts Vincent coming out of his bathroom and kills him. As the boxer drives away he hits the boss at a street crossing down the street and they both end up in the back of a pawn shop where Zed, a rapist, is waiting for a piece of both of them. As Marsellus is in the back getting raped, Butch is able to escape but before he leaves he enters the back room and frees Marsellus as he kills the two men. Because Butch rescued Marsellus, he lets him go away with out killing him and the boxer exits. At this point in the film a second flashback occurs and the viewers are back in Brett's apartment. During this flashback the murder of a second man in the apartment occurs and the two hit men exit with Marvin, one of Jules's friends. While in the car Marvin is actually blown away by accident and Vincent and Jules find themselves in a predicament as the two are travelling in LA with blood and brains all over the place. Jules calls a friend in the valley, Jimmie, and they clean up the mess in the car. Here at Jimmie's house Vincent and Jules pick up their unusual attire and are off to the diner. The diner scene picks off where it began but this time we see both Vincent and Jules in a booth. As Pumpkin tries to get the briefcase from Jules he is faced with a gun to his face. Jules, a very spiritual man, is able to convince the two robbers to quit robbing places and gives them a gift of $1300 in exchange. The movie ends as Vincent and Jules place their guns in their shorts and they walk out of the diner.
