Merry Meet! Here's a little about me.....My name is Liz. I'm 34, very soon to be 35. I have two sons. I am finally back home in PA, where I belong. Alabama was in no way ever "home" for me. I had been told for several weeks (ok, a few months) before I came back home, that I "needed to" come home. It wasn't that I didn't want to, because I have been wanting to come back up here for almost as long as I had lived in Alabama. I just never had the opportunity to get back up here before.

I Love making beaded jewelry. I have a few links on this page to some of my works. I will be adding more as time, my scanner and internet connection allow. I have been doing beadwork forever it seems. Not that I am complaining. Originally, all I made was single strands of seed beads. Then, in 1991, I met a gentleman who made beaded earrings and such. He taught me how to make earrings. I don't remember the exact pattern that the first pair I made was, but I do remember that it was in pink and gold. After that, I had to learn everything else I could about beadwork. I bought books and magazines, anything I could get my hands on to learn new stitches and designs. It took me a while of only using other people's patterns, but I eventually started coming up with my own designs. I finally have a computer program to make my own beadwork patterns, but have yet to really do anything with it.

I also enjoy writing. I don't currently have any of my poems published anywhere other than here on my website, but I was told that I should. If you wish to read some of my poetry, use the links for the poems from this page.

I also do some drawing, crocheting, knitting and spinning. I use a drop spindle and also have a Louet spinning wheel, which I adore. I got the wheel from a very dear friend who lives in Holland. Eventually I will have some pics of the fibery things I've done to put up here.
