In the begginning was the light... (sorry, wrong tale) ...Yes, er... At the age of 4 or 5 he early starts his carrier as a drawer. After the evening of cinema watching King Kong (the one with Jessica Lange) he returns home and take a pile of sheets from his mother. He draws step by step every single scene from the movie. The result: more than 100 pages of outstanding material for a boy with such age. Secondary outputs: 100 drawn pages in the reverse of 100 test pages from his mother's school-work as a teacher. First big licking.
When Jotar is 8 years old draws comics with a particular character with no name: inspired in the figure that appears in the opening titles from the TV show The Saint (the original, with the ex-James Bond actor). Take a look of how plastic results this guy for the boy.
In 1983, at the age of 10 he produces a lot of comics in the back of his mother's school papers. (but now with her consent). All kind of stories... and the following step: draw people. In the years to come he uses his galactic action figures as models to create funny comics which involved other characters from different sources.
Then is when Jotar starts to draw for real (as the critics says). He's growing and with him his creativity to invent the craziest comics rows based in what he sees in the TV. So as well it starts his teenager's age... But that, is another episode of his life.
