Image of the month
It is a known fact that everyone will have a
different opinion on which image is the best.
I am not trying to pick the best image, but picking an image that I personally liked.
I am sure that we will all agree on the fact that this is an excellent image!

While
visiting the Venice Rookery in South Venice Florida, I spotted this pair of Great Blue
Herons on the nest. It was the first time that I had ever had an opportunity to
photograph a pair of Great Blue Herons, so I spent quite a while observing and
photographing them. Eventually, my patience was rewarded when they struck this very
interesting pose, albeit only very briefly. I was watching through my 600mm lens and
was able to catch this photo when they did. --Ken Maher |
