Stoneware clay with (unknown) glazes. It's about 400 mm tall.

This was the pot I made for my 1997 'O'-level Examinations, Art Paper 4 (Project Work). I started the making the pot in April, but didn't really go into it till June of 1997. By the start of July, the first section of the pot was bisquit fired. The whole pot was made with first, the middle section, than the bottom plate, and finally the cover.
Another piece of attachment (which resembled a funnel) was supposed to go on top, but due to bad judgement, that didn't turn out well, so my teacher took the piece and used it for her own art work. (Which turned out nicer for her anyway.)

The small little creatures were made separately and attached upon high-temperature firing for glazes.

The whole project was inspired by fungi, which was related to death and decay. I was rather obsessed with that theme since then, and wanted to create something which spoke of death.
