MICK'S MIX is the new version of A New Order Fan since 03 November 2004.
The address is http://www.aneworderfan.zor.org
It's a blog and a portal to the other sites I've been doing.
This version of A New Order Fan remains archived here at the address http://www.aneworderfan04.zor.org but will not be updated.
A New Order Fan Blog remains archived too but of course it has been replaced by Mick's Blog
- Gabrielles Wish have reformed and I'm proud to do their official site at www.gabrielleswish.com
- I'm rebuilding Movement as New Order Directory (N.O.D.), listing in categories everything ever appeared on the Internet about New Order and related bands, but also with a page about sites history. You can find it at the easy address: http://www.neworder.zor.org
- I'm rebuilding NewOrderStory on a new site, trying to do the first ever proper biography on the web of New Order and related bands. Easy address of New Order Story (N.O.S.): http://www.nos.zor.org
-
I'm rebuilding the Links as a new site, Mick's Links, made as a directory of categories. Easy address: http://www.mickslinks.zor.org

01 Pages about New Order and related bands
- the NewOrders (http://www.neworder.zor.org) A site in the site dedicated to New Order and related bands (The New Orders). Includes New Order Chat and links to New Order Resources like News, Discography, Lyrics, Mailing List etc.
Last update: Added the Electronic Discography (1995) on Retro (the archive)
::: Movement (http://www.movement.zor.org) A section of The NewOrders listing in chronological order everything dedicated to New Order and related bands ever appeared on the Internet. Updates happen often and are not reported here. This section includes an Alphabetical index (where the update is reported), 1989/1999 and 2000/2003, the two chronologies, and Papernet a page for fanzines, fanclubs and other fanstuff.
:: Retro (the archive) Archiving offline New Order sites.
Includes the Discographies of New Order (1992) and Electronic (1995),
Atrocity Exhibition (1996) and Power, Corruption And Lies (2001).
NewOrderStory An insane attempt at having the adventurous history of New Order (and related bands) told (and updated) on the Internet with this section of The NewOrders. Browse for curiosity the chronologies. Work in progress, will probably stay at an early stage for ages.
Live reviews: New Order in Liverpool (2001) and Paris (2002).
Record reviews: New Order's Get Ready, 316, Crystal and more...
Other Stuff: New Order interview on RockSound 2003
02 Pages about New Order and other stuff
- Diary - Blog A page both in English and Italian, with site updates, news and reviews on New Order and Italian and international music and short concert reports. Updates happen often and are not reported here. The Diary has moved to the Blog of A New Order Fan (with Blog Archives in chronological order) from 2003 to 2004, but now it's Mick's Blog on Mick's Mix (A New Order Fan), the new site.
:: Blog Index to sort the posts by subject and alphabetical order.
- Links Reach many interesting sites about New Order, music (with an alphabetical list of the artists linked), freeware and stuff... You'll also find the latest world news headlines and boxes to search the Internet. Updates should happen more often now so won't be reported here.
03 Pages about other stuff
- Gabrielles Wish A different site I've started as a fan about a great Manchester band which sounds like the best Factory groups. They were on the label owned by Rob Gretton, manager of New Order.
Check MP3 files to hear how they sounded like (and also Discography, Biography, pictures, interviews etc.), they recall Joy Division, Section 25, The Fall and Nine Inch Nails, all mixed in their own style. A really talented band which reformed in 2004 after a split of one year, they deserve a larger following than their cult, to which they mean a lot. I'm proud they asked me to make http://www.gabrielleswish.com the new Gabrielles Wish official site.
- Music For The Masses (my reviews)
Last update: Records Of The Year 2003
Records Of The Years: 2001 - 2002 - 2003 (also from Italy).
Live reviews: Bjork live in Parma
Record reviews: A CERTAIN RATIO: Early - GABRIELLES WISH: Portal - STEELY DAN: Everything Must Go and more
Music Posts from the Blog Index about Gabrielles Wish and more
- Controluce A page dedicated to my former band. I was the bassist and wrote the most of the music. There are also the instructions to download Manichini, a song which appeared on our demo CD, Come Corda. Now there's a band of the same name circulating, it has nothing to do with ours, which split in 1998.
- Computer World
The section about freeware and HTML... I don't have any serious knowledge concerning the subject (it's just a user point of view), so don't trust me. ;-) Including:
Reviews of IE Based Browsers, using the core of Internet Explorer, and Independent Browsers, of (HTML and plain text) Editors and of Other Software.
Do It Yourself a short guide to learn how to write basic HTML in a few seconds and make your own site.
04 Pagine in italiano
- Da Qui (Italia) La sezione dedicata alla scena italiana, in italiano.
Ultimo aggiornamento: ELIO E LE STORIE TESE: Cicciput

Andromeda Chat
A chat room for everyone: click the button below on the left (Chat Now!) and follow the instructions.

The name of the chat room has been inspired by Andromeda Heights, a great album by Prefab Sprout, one of my favourite bands. Of course it's just an inspiration and the (unmoderated) room is open to really everyone coming here.
Here on the left is the cover of the album, click it to view it larger.
