The PlaZma Saga
Chapter One: The Saga begins

In the small town of PlaZma, a boy is born. His name is Takumi, destined to be a great pokemon trainer. At a young age he was always full of energy like a fire. At the big one-oh, he received his pokemon training license. Takumi headed off to Pallet Town, where pokemon researcher Professor Oak lives, to get his first pokemon! Arriving at Pallet Town early in the morning, he was just in time to find three other kids of his age, one being very arrogant. He was Professor Oak's Grandson. In walked Professor Oak, who took them into another room, where three pokeballs lay inside a dome.
'Who wants to choose first?' asked Professor Oak.
'I do',said Takumi.
'Oh, you're here! Glad to see you Takumi!'
'How do you know my name?'
'I've known you since you were a little baby. I'm a great friend of your father's you know. I'll let you choose first.'
'Alright! Wait a minute. What's in that pokeball over there on the table?'
'Another pokemon, but it's too hard to handle for a beginning pokemon trainer.'
'Oh. Well, then I'll choose.......Charmander!' He opened the pokeball and a dinosaur with a flame on its tail came out. Takumi was fascinated by the flame on its tail, and decided to call him Flame. Takumi put Flame back into his pokeball and received a pokedex and a few more pokeballs.
'Hey, when do I get to choose?' asked the arrogant-looking boy.
'Gary, if you don't stop whining you'll never get yours.' Professor Oak was shouting at Gary when Takumi decided to leave. He checked his map and decided to go to Viridian City, not knowing what dangers lie in his path...

Chapter Two: The Challenges of Route 1

Walking down Route 1, Takumi found a Pidgey, getting ready to make it faint.
'Flame, Scratch!'ordered Takumi. The Pidgey tried using Gust, but Flame dodged it. It was starting a Sand-attack, so Takumi screamed:
'Finish it off with Ember!' The Pidgey was burned to a crisp.
Feeling confident, Takumi continued his route when he saw a Scyther dive straight for him!
'Flame, come out! Scratch that Scyther!' Flame tried his best, but couldn't Scratch the Scyther. 'Wait, Grass-types are weakened by fire. Flame, Growl!'
'Char!!!!!!!' The Scyther covered its ears in pain.
'Flame Ember, Max Power!' Flame burned Scyther severely, and it fell to the ground.
'Pokeball, go!' The Pokeball wiggled, wiggled, then stopped.
'Yes!!!!! We caught Scyther! Scyther, come out! Hmm...I'm gonna call you Slash.' Slash agreed and liked the name, and Takumi returned the two pokemon back into their pokeballs. It was getting dark, so Takumi rushed into the Viridian City Pokemon center, and slept there for the night...

Chapter 3: Forest Conflict

The next day, Takumi healed his pokemon and headed out for Viridian Forest. A short way in, he spotted a Beedrill flying overhead.
'Hey, those look dangerous!' thought Takumi out loud.
'They are answered a costumed man.' He was dressed in a Samurai costume.
'Hey, are you a pokemon trainer?'
'Yes, so I challenge you to a pokemon battle!'
'Hmm...alright, but go easy on me. I'm only a beginner.'
'Never, you novice. One pokemon each. Let's fight.'
'Alright. I'll choose....Slash!'
'In that case I will use, Beedrill!'
'Slash, Cut attack now!'
'Beedrill counterattack! Poison Sting!' The Beedrill evade the attack and shove his big point into the enemy pokemon.
'Oh no! Slash, Double Team! Attack it, now!'
'Beedrill, block the attack, dive at it!' Slash used Double Team and hit the Beedrill, but then fell to the ground.
'Slash, what's wrong?'
'It's been poisoned. You have lost, Novice. Here, heal your pokemon with this Antidote.'
'Thank you. You won, but I'll be back. And I'll beat you.' Takumi was disappointed in losing his first battle, but vowed to get payback. He explored the forest until nightfall, then fell asleep...

Chapter 4: Payback!

Takumi, now thinking of a stradegy to beat the Samurai kept walking on, until something happened. A Geodude was lying on a rock, weak and hungry. It seemed to be abandoned. Takumi fed it, and tried to heal some of its wounds. The Geodude wanted to join and help Takumi on his quest, and he happily accepted. He named his Geodude Smash, since it tended to break and smash lots of stuff. Then the time came.
'Samurai, show yourself! I want a re-match!'
'Here I am boy. Haven't you learned your lesson?'
'Let's fight. Two pokemon this time.'
'Fine, then. Beedrill, go!'
'Smash, go! Rock Throw, now!'
'A Geodude?' Samurai was caught off guard. His Beedrill was trapped under a pile of rubble. 'Grrr, Beedrill, return, Pinsir, go!
'Smash, return! Flame, Burn him!' Flame brothe fire. The Pinsir resisted, but was badly burnt.
'Pinsir, Tackle!'
'Flame, Flamethrower!' The Pinsir was weakned too much by the fire, and collapsed.
'I congratulate you. You have proven yourself worthy and have won. I am sure we will meet again, someday. Your future is bright and Pewter City lies ahead. Train hard, and we will have another spectacular match. Count on it.' Takumi went on, leaving Viridian Forest at dark, with the bright lights of the Pewter City Museum up ahead....
